Rough Trader been FX since 08 crash....Vs system is an add onto what i was doing before.. Tightened the whole thing up so to speak..my hit rate.. when i concentrate and have Patience.. is 80++but the last 3 weeks have been even better..I think u will find if u question V...when he was on the job.. some weeks he was 100%.. i know he quite often got out at BE,,I think u have to be continualy looking at the BIG picture..I use hier pivots .. week up on lead indicators to try to guess the direction..and then come in to my chosen weapon.. Cable ..Dragon.. and EUUD.. continualy flicking throu.. the 4 hrs on these ones..In my opnion.. this is an education thred.. all u have to do is use it as a manual.. and brain wash your self..AND i find V is allways open to a question.. I am continualy flicking throu the thred and his BLOG.. on blog go back to early posts and come forawrd,,.. sum great stuff there..... HOPE this HELPS....Ps be continualy looking at Weekly pivot centre point... and i use Fibo pivots.. on these watch closley.... .618## and 50##support and resistance..for more on this go to AMYCs journal.. she is a genius..

Wouldnt call it a system..R.T... would think Method... which u stamp your own personality on... nothing is perfect.. Cept God... if u believe in such things.. Just my OPN of course..

Nice trade Danc, especially so as I took the same trade myself. I have been trading HL/LH's mainly on E/U, but this textbook Vantage trade on G/U was a no brainer.

Day EUUD..Nice diversion..could be a longish week this week..??

Day Cable.. Nice diversion on 8 RSI and chart.. Long time this week??

As per above post on EUUD... I took on 1 hr chart.. at hoz line and cross.. note cross on volume..note slant of ..5 and 8.. MA..Just closed..

EUUD.. 4 hr..note 3 hoz lines at current hi.. note 8 period RSI.. looking for this to topp out on or around one of these lines... and RSI to give diverg signal.. and hopfully give sum short opps.. on the 15.. 5.. min..or 1hr??

Dan, that did give a nice short just after LO although strongly bearish 4 hr and 1 hr candles couldn't push price below the daily pivot after the very strong uptrend of the last few days.

Looking back over the day's action I can see there were some very nice LO and system trades available, hope someone got some of them...

There was a rejection of Asian lows during FH forming a 15 min doji then a 15 min pos close at LO shortly followed by a 5 min hl which pushed straight up through As highs to MR1, obligingly forming another doji to indicate a good place to TP.

This turned into a 5 min evening star pattern which coincided with a 15 min shooting star with divergence (reversal at session extreme - the London fakeout) to give a sell back down off MR1 with an opportunity to add on below the day's open (solid blue line) and pushing down almost to the daily pivot. The failure to reach the pivot was signaled by a 5 min divergence (not shown) indicating that stops should be tightened up.

Have to eat now, afternoon's charts to follow shortly....

The 1200BST 1 hr candle closed negative with a large upper wick at NYO.
Price then moved sharply up against the short term trend forming a 15 min pos close. A brief wait for the 15 min to turn back down into trend led to a 5 min lh giving a 20+ pip system trade down to the pivot.

Price couldn't hold below the pivot making a 1 hr long-legged doji followed by an imperfect hammer. Soon after these turn candles price moved back above the RN forming a perfect 5 min hl after two positive 15 min bars.

A very bullish 1 hr candle led to another hl taking price almost back up to daily highs.

There were also some later system setups not shown as they were well past London Close.

Dan, price couldn't even make it to your first line. Loads of resistance, fib confluence, 4 hr SS, it'll be interesting to see if we can go lower from here...

Will that doji stop the upward momentum?

RSI above 50 and price still well above the 8lwma. However plenty of daily upper wicks in late September. Hmmm....

Nice Charts Ian.. some nice diversions..what have u got the CCI.. set on... ?? I got one last nite..went well.. Amazing how well these little diversions on 15 and 5 work well a big %..wit candle and trend line etc etc.. first time i have looked since last nite my time..More later..
