Not to be picky, but I don't think you should be treating an index like a price chart. S/R, pivots, MA's etc are not really relevant to relative strength charts (or indexes as you call them).

I have used rel. strength charts (indexes) for many years now, and have found the correlation between the tools you might use on a price chart, and the benefit of similar tools on the strength chart is weak. Not utterly without merit - just probably not something I'd place too much weight on.

How do you use the relative strength chart,, just for gaining more knowledge would be great if you could share..

Also i use S/R, pivots etc on indexes for just one reason , only to detect max volatility, strength etc.
Once i have determined SR on a individual index, i go through the profile individually and pick the best pair to trade.
For example , picking gbp was purely because of course basic rules that i follow, rsi etc but also when the index faces resistance at a certain level then there is definitely something goin on in that profile.
This time it was gbpcad which was facing resistance. So yes i end up looking at a currency pair ultimately but getting the right pair is more important.
Yes kinda unusual but it works for me so its ok

would love to know how you use it.

Closed gbpcad 79 pips in one account. other one is on. GBPNZD 118 pips. One position is on in another account.
GBPAUD trendin well.

Thanks .. just follow the rules.. Its funny how markets behave in the same fashion over and over again. There are some nice extreme long term investment strategies which i will discuss shortly. stay connected.
This is my way of trading ur system. When the index's gives a all up/down signal i proceed to the matching profiles n the the prospective picks. I then use the owesome + psar + both Tvi_color indi, only if all r true match i enter with daily ATR as SL . parameter's for indi on the picture (see picture for better view)

I have open positions on cadchf (l) - 200 pips, gbpnzd (s) - 350 pips, eurnzd (s) - 190 pips, nzdchf (l) - 160 pips, nzdjpy (l) - 60 pips, gbpcad (s) - 190 pips. Just a quick post so data is more or less, but it looks very good anyway. All of them still running.

Capito I will send you a prv msg cause I don't get exactly what conditions should EA take to consideration. I will try to make something in the next few days.

(l) - long, (s) - short, all are profitable. I was opening positions on pairs that indexes had momentum described by capito and was cutting through rsi3 line (also MA) and clearly looked like trend beggining.

I have read thru the thread more than once, just to make sure I am following the logic correctly, I will try to summarise here, please correct me if I have got it wrong.
1. a)Check the lfx charts. For a long, rsi d1, wk1 and mth1 must be in same direction, pointing up.
1. b) We are not waiting for candle closes, but take next action as soon as the rsi arrows on 3 tf's align.
1. c) Question: Dose price have to be above filter line in order to qualify?

2. a) Next step, open up the individual currency charts for that index, tf H4.
2. b) rsi arrows must be pointing in same direction for tf's h4, d1, wk1, mth1.
2. c) Price must be above filter line.
2. d) Question. Do we wait for close of H4 bar?
2. e) Question. If we wait for close of H4 bar, that means that rsi on h4, d1, wk1, mth1 must be pointing in trade direction when the bar closes. If not, do we wait for next close of h4 bar.
2. f) At close of H4 bar, do we refer back to index chart to confirm if 3 rsi's are still valid.
2. g) Is trade entry at break of previous H4 bar?

3. a) If on the currency chart we are not waiting for close of bar, we place a trade as soon as rsi conditions are met and price is trading above filter line.

Please help me clarify this in my mind. I know with your experience, you probably need just a glance at the charts!!
