What's up guys? Been meaning to post more around here and be little more interactive but college has been kicking my ass for time. Missed most of the moves today since I have morning classes so I only caught a little bit last night on the EUR/USD drop.

hey buma, a little quiz for you

name me the indicators you are using,
how they are calculated by hand, and what is their strategic importance to your trading plan?

how can you trade using the concepts of your indicators with out a computer?

if you cannot give me a clear logical way how your players enhance the team, i suggest you rethink your ideas.



in another note

todays movement seemed irrational, good thing i was able to profit nonetheless, one by shorting the next by a lucky long then a rescue, my monthly target is almost met 4 days into the month, not bad (more luck than anything, i had not plan for the big bullish corrective wave)

it is funny how the Equities market lead the charge late on NY on comments that the EZ will need to tackle the debt problem (obviously) and the banks need more liquidity (money printing) then it was topped off by Italy downgrade which will actually make paper more expensive for the italian economy posing the EUR a bigger threat of increased expense on servicing a big economy like italy.

I believe either big money is bluffing dumb money into going long till the rate decision to short this at a better price, or massive short covering


be careful out there, every dollar you make belongs to some one else, so dont think this is a computer game. Dont get caught with your pants down.

its a zero-sum game.
Ichimoku=
Tenkan sen = Moving average of 9 periods (highest high + lowest low)2 over 9 periods.
Kijun Sen = Moving average of 26 periods (highest high + lowest low)/2 over 26 periods.
Chikou Span:Current closing price shifted 26 periods back.

Accumulation/Distribution=
((Close – Low) – (High – Close)) / (High – Low) * Period's volume


MACD=
12 p ema
26 p ema
9 p ema

26 ema-12 ema and 9 ema is the trigger/signal line.

RSI=
100 - 100/(1 + Relative strength)
relative strength is Average of x days' up closes / Average of x days' down closes.


Their strategic importance is the ability to help me gauge momentum of price movement, a/d Shows you the periods' larger view of the sup/dem what is the actual state of market, bullish, bearish, and is a momentum indicator too, helps identify rangebound- trend markets. MACD, momentum like everything else.
Ichimoku, helps me know where the next sup/res predicted levels are, and same, helps indicate rangebound/trend markets.
Divergence can also be found in all the momentum indicators.
I dont trade indicator first, u see action/fluctuation of price first, then u go fancy. Overall, it gives me the whole outlook of the instrument.

Without a computer, I would have to analyze price movement fundamentally, with the concepts of momentum. I would look into sentiments of the instrument, i would have to find historical prices, historical news, see what happened at those levels, analyze, and predict and analyze what may come next in the current time. This is without charts.

went to jiujitsu class, shoud've closed trade. with lots of profit.
take a look at this, i came back i saw this funny shit. this is why silver and gold is high-yield, and high-risk too. especially dont go to jiujitsu and leave the trades open lol.

on the chart Buma there are 4 examples of ibs at 17-30 18-30 19-30 22-00 its something like tops n bottoms. anyway it isnt as easy as it seems but it is a very good trading way and simple if you adapt it to your own style. and its good to hear from someone mentioning LUCK in a trade lol happy trading happy days

well your onto a loser then. i dont use them all of the time but when i trade the way i do and an ib happens to be there as well its normally big payday. keep it simple be like a pro
