It can, but it more often doesn't that it does. But, of course, it is just IMHO.

whats your settings on the 833 stoch ? smooth, median price, fixed max./min. ?

its not always the case that above/below 90 means the market is heading the opposite. check 29/9/11. above 90, but price still goes up...

stopped out on 2nd trap trade. - 16 pips.

It is Stochastic Slope from the "Trading Made Simple" with the default settings, downloaded here:

Yes, of course sometimes stochastic stays above 90 for many hours, but I also analyze M-1 itself.

well, i cant download that. my default settings on mt4 are , smooth, price high/low = median, fix max/min = 0.

could be different to that.

Simple, Close/Close, 0.0 to 1.0

It is strange that you couldn't download it, just in case I attached it.

i think fix min is 0 and max 100, not 1. if 1 then out of range !

Yes, probably I gave the wrong setting, but it is the only one I could find.
(It is a very special stochastic, it is not a "normal" stochastic.)

The settings say: "Slope threshhold=0.0 to 1.0"

I win about 65% of the time. Last week I was almost 50 50 win loss, but still finished +11% for the week in acct bal gain. Little lower then average, but I will take it
