I think is amazing the amount of technical analysis that you are absorbing.
Seems like every week you are able to assimilate a new theory. That is all good and more you learn better is. I went through it myself (in much more longer time tough, I am old now, but younger than I will be tomorrow).

(Note: In my personal view, TA is all in the Edwards, Magee & Bassetti book, but I prefer the TA of the financial Markers by John Murphy)

But the vast knowledge acquired of TA does not necessary translate in a good trader.

With TA you can predict were price are going to and where, but being a good trader is about timing.

You can be right and loose money if you timing is wrong. Are you following me? I am sure you are. (Remember my story? about the girls with the great ankles, post 796)

I know that you are on the demo now, I strongly suggest that you open a live micro account ($25) and trade one instruments, (eurusd, tight spread). if you make money on one you can add another. You need to double you account, if you do that you may considering injecting more.

Until now we have been playing, with real money the game will be tougher, because mr ego will came at play and he will try to succumb you any time he has a chance .

Remember what I just said could be very well wrong, but this is what I think.

By the way the harmonic trading by Scott Carney I think is more appropriate for stock and future, not in currencies that tend to trend.

Also I did not see your webinar, can you send me a copy to look at/

Hi mla, i dont know if u read my first post, i did went live but with so much stupidity and lack of knowledge i failed in so many aspects of trading. I felt it. It was same actually, up up up, then slow downtrending balance then took me out. I am going to go live again in new year. Same amount $300. To me, forex is not a girl. even though it seems like it sometimes. To me, it proves to me, what i can be, what i am. It proves who i am. I can become a better person, i learn more about me. Why i do this, why i dont. I want to find the new me inside the markets then. I was something else a month ago, and im sure i would be someone else in new year. This is the reassessment process of my trading, and i still have some to do. if not a lot I still don't know who i might be then. Im willing to find out. I know TA doesnt mean trading experise, neather does timing. Its nothing to do with analysis to me. Its how he is as a person. I mean a true chef may not be able to make the best dish, but as a person he is great.

If you know what i mean. Forex owes me nothing. Forex is more of a mirror of the true person you are. Like climbing a mountain, with friends, you can see who they really are. (you would only know if u actually climbed a mountain).

and, no no one's going to tell me not to go live on new year.

I just dont want anyone to misunderstand what im doing. I am not in the search of the holy grail, because its already in all of us. It just needs the trigger to make it work. I dont trade based on "WOW look BIG GREEN CANDLE ON 61.8!". haha...i trade by feeling the market. It may sound wrong but i somehow had time to see my favorites: Eur/usd, silver, gold, and felt the way prices move. Thats how i trade, on the movement of price. Most people say "I do too!". but usually they dont. I mean i learnt fancy sup/dem, fibonacci arc, fan squished banana, lolz, stuff, blah, but i dont look at them first. I look at price first. I look at why its doing this shit and that shit.

this is not directed at you mla, dont worry. Im not screaming at anyone. its just a statement.

Im too slim-bodied to play, i'll get ccrushed. I run fast thats one thing. Like in football (soccer), man they can't acatch up with me.

My eur/cad trade.
Like my signature, i dont hope for sup/dem to give me signals. price gives me signals. I have also said before, that to know the effect, one must know the cause. Accumulation is probably my favorite motion on the forex. I mean, sup/dem, and fibonacci, all that, is predictions basically based on past results to see where price might go. One can almost 'know' by just looking at how price moves.

accumulation itself is the cause of momentum.
Accumulation is an effect too.
The cause of accumulation is loss of momentum, and acceleration.
The cause of loss of momentum, is buyers/sellers taking their profits, and the opposite side stepping into the market.

Analogy/connection: A car moves at a certain speed, accelerates, slows down, and fills up the gas, before moving again.

Johan Cruyff from Holland was skinny and very fast, one of the best, the seventies. See if you can find some videos on google.
