according to your definition....
"If the 2MA high is higher than the 3MA high and price is above both then Sell. The opposite for buys. If the 2MA low is lower than the 3MA low and price is below both buy."
[as only 3 MA BB is there on my charts....what about 2MA BB??]

Basically whenever you see price spike above/below the line you will get an entry which during ranging times can almost be every other candle. I didnt post arrows because they would have crowded the screen. For example today I already have 18 trades TP either by the EA or manually closed. I have increased my account 1.5% and some pairs have already done two trades. This EA will really bang out the trades. Here is a pic of today's equity curve so far. 1 trade was a loser which was one of my BE trades but with the recovery I made a small profit of 6 or 7 pips.

Here are two live trades taken today by the GBP/CAD. You see the little red arrows where the entrance was made. TP was at the bottom of the MA. Nice trades. I actually closed both manually at the line. Didnt want to lose the profit at the time during off hours. So here are two actual entrances done on a live account.

WOW!! Just had my greatest day trading ever. DANG!!! total for the day all trades +1656. Took 40 trades and was 37-3. See pic below for the daily curve. 773 pips on just the pairs below doing recovery. Gotta love it. My 2nd 1000+ pip day this month. I will post some examples and then decide where I want to wipe out some DD.

GBP/USD was really good. OI got me started for the day. Closed out a trade from over the weekend and then the two 4H trades are marked by arrows. When I switch screens it wipes out the arrows but those trades were real.

Here are my trades for the last 24 hours listed. Made 50 bucks trading 3 and 4 cent lots. Low risk, good gain for one day.

Since I consider the gbp/usd my most dangerous open trade I took .02 off of losing trades on the gbp/usd. This lessened my exposure from .07 per lot to .05 per lot. Left me a small profit for the day on the gbp/usd. Gotta get ready for work.

Nice trading Bob. I was just looking at the 3ma's on the weekly. They give a fairly accurate picture of support and resistance on the larger scale. They could come in useful, especially when deciding to part-close some positions during recovery.

I've had 6 or 7 trades enter at weird places today. Have you had any more yourself Bob? Should I have copied the EX4 AND the MQ4 files across, or just one or the other? Sorry for the newbie question, pls feel free to point me off to some other reference, I just can't find one that explains it all.

I seem to be getting them at the right spot. I compiled all the EAs before posting them so I dont have any idea what the problem could be? Show some pics and I will look into it. Right now I really dont know what you are talking about? I need to see the arrow spot on the chart.

OK here are the ones I have been using live, which were also the ones I posted. I changed the magic number and compiled them Let me know if there is a problem.

I took all my profit of the day and reduced gbp/usd another .02 lots. That made it a no profit day. My account is still up over 2% for the week.

Bob when PA is sitting fairly steady and their is no real counter trading to be done, like the usd/jpy at the moment, do you turn on the 1h ctr?

I have it on but will probably turn it off or go with just a buy. I am expecting the BOJ to do an intervention and I want some buy EA on that starting tomorrow. All my JPY cross pairs I will going with JPY sells so chf/jpy will be a buy EA ETC. I maybe wrong but if I am right there will be some really nice winners out there.

Hi Bob,

Have tried the new EAs you posted with two different brokers - one 4 digit MM and one 5 digit STP - and have run into pretty well the same problems. Could it be that I have some settings wrong? I am using it OOTB except lot size 0.05.

Not much changed but did pick up some pips. My DD remained about the same as yesterday but it did spike some with NZD move. The one area I need to watch is the EA with the TP. If it doesnt hit the TP the same day or within a 1/2 day you can have it end up closing a losing trade. For example I turned it on one pair and it didnt enter but it closed a different trade which had already been open with that Magic number. It didnt hurt that much but it used up most of my profit. Actually it happened twice yesterday. So that TP EA I will set up several screens with different Magic numbers.

My DD has gone back up over 20% again I will study my trades and see if I will add funds or which trades I will start taking on after Monday open. I will probably talk about that tomorrow. I will spend some time in my range thread talking recovery there. Having fun debating recovery versus SL in the SL vs NoSL thread. Interesting how some people can never grasp the idea. It doesnt matter if you believe it or not but at least understand the basic principle. I am thinking of writing a booklet about recovery concepts. Now that I think 10.0 will work as a complete system I can do an in depth booklet on the subject. Ok my recovery trades for the range system

To get an increase of better than 10% and keep my DD under 20% most of the time during one of the most volatile months since Oct. 2008 is no small feat. If you made money this month you did good.

Friday sucked as far as recovery goes. But the rest of the week went ok.
