Hi there Riko2705. Funnily enough, I just came to this thread for the first time in many days. Am presently in Nouvelle Caledonie on vacation. The way I see it, all the last support? trendline comes in at around 119.3~4. (Line from 126.6 May 2010 through 122.15 in March 2011 to 119.4 today). Price much below that would tend to go against the idea of GJ being in an expanding triangle. Below that, the double bottom is at around 118.6. I read of BIG sell orders (sell stops) just below 118.6. I guess we will see in the next few hours.

Hey MPT, where do you read information of big sell or buy orders for that matter? Another source of information is always good.

Price is dropping, I am thinking we will be seeing a new all time low in the 116 region. Next support for the G/U should be in the 153 area if it doesn't bounce from the 155 area. The U/J is being pretty static at the moment.

That said, I am in for a long here at 119.30, with an SL below 118 just on the fact that we may get a bounce from here, looking to 122 and will re-evaluate should that occur.

Cheers

Sorry for the late reply ... have been away. You can often get reports of large corporate/sovereign orders by monitoring the regular commentary over at forexlive.

For those who swear by Price Action analysis. the g/j pair caught my attention during the news release last weeks.

here u have 2 charts where u can see how the big boys press down the price prior to the news release to the previous low stop to hunt most possible stops

however the price fail to close beyond round number support 117.00

a V shape trend resumes after clearing the longers.

i didnt made the trade but i would if i were to spot on this PA move and round number rejection.

u could also see 119.00 were a silver lining cross over between the bull and bear

just for educations purposes hope it helps

Forgotten to add my view on this pair - a retrace to the 119.00 area would be a potential entry for long if it tested and reject 119 support.

Hello all, happy weekend.

Every day I've learned a lot from you all in this forum. I usually use buystop or sellstop when BE with sl in a few pips, because I don't know whether bearish or bullish trend in the next.
This is the chart that I use, please give me a comment. Thank you.

I am not an established trader with a system in place that allows me to tally win after win in my trading. I looked to this thread, as well as a few other threads, to help enlighten me in trading the GBP/JPY pair.
