Hi lee,
i am actively trading during frankfurt open until london lunch. with your question, one of my pre-trading ritual is to check forexfactory calendar for major fig releases and set an alarm to all that major ones to give me a fair warning at least 30 minutes before any release.

if i am heavily exposed and a bit sure of my bias, i normally scale out... exit most of my positions and hold 1 or 2 just to continue feel the market.

but if, i am not in a trade yet, i normally wait for price to normalize... if i missed a big move, i usually close my pc and do something else, like walking...

and lastly, i have a very poor knowledge of fundamental side of currencies... i react to what i see.

p.s. for alarm setting, i always use outlook calendar everyday. i assigned one of my pc to do just one thing... to warn me of any news release.

we need a help.. can you give us your detailed report of your trading - only with these info.
1. date time
2. long / short
3. entered price...

from this we might understand a little bit of your trading style... is it possible??

i don't see how would it help you on your trading....

date and time:

i am trading mon to fri
at frankfurt open until london lunch and very often a little bit of overlap with new york open... depends on market momentum and volatility...

remember... there's no 2 person are the same...

all you do is go and feel the market... focus in price action...

to survive in this business you need to have a lot of patience, persevirance and humility... (modest and respectful to yourself and the market)

most of the time... when you are insync with the market flow... entry is not that important, it's how you manage exposure and when and where to exit is the most challenging for me.

Hey date time means not the Mon to Fri

I am talking about MT4 Detailed Trading report of your trading where it will have the trades that you have taken....

in that report just give us the

1. Trade open / close - date time
2. long / short trade
3. entered price... and existed price

how this time i make some sense

It took me 6 years of full-time trading to finally realize and accept the simple fact of what dongsky just said. This is all there is to it. It takes practice.

for your info.. today i joined James 16 Group (PF)... hope that i can learn / earn like you one day

after i read the PF for some days / weeks and then if i check your trades then i think i can see how you are trading

i am very bearish vick but it feels like side way price action at the moment

i took a 1.8% loss on AU...was bearish...after 230 pips movement against me..i threw the towel booked the loss... luckily my UJ gave me 1.6% profit...

Right now some open position open on UJ and relaxing...

did not understand the swings yesterday, couldn't get into feel... end up no positions at all...

hopefully today would be different...

I Kinda felt it...but couldnt read the USD bear sign properly...

today it is short but i am away from AU and long UJ....so just UJ for me...
