i have attached one EA call zig4040. i want addition code to be added to the Ea.

it should go long when EMA 10 is higher than EMA 50 and shall go short when the 10EMA <50 EMA. and the difference betwwn them should be 20 pips.

Hi Andi,

I need indicator that can draw horizontal line with additional lines levels (we can add levels like MA indicator)
I also need this indi to be able move all lines together when i change the position the of the horizontal line (reference [email protected] line)...so that i do not need go to properties to change the price value..i accept tolerance..

If possible, i need more than 3 (maybe 9 enough) lines and i just need to enter the price value at middle line..the rest i just need to put level xx pips or minus xx pips (positive and negative round number)..

Another extra if possible,
1.the middle line can be choose or different color from the rest
2.text next to each lines as well and
3. i need this indi to have "Ray" selection.. so that i can off it if I want to draw another horizontal line in previous days.

The reason i need this is to study price and volume for reversal market.. and I just use TF1H..

Hey everyone im very new at MQL4 and i just recently managed to write an EA but the code is not all mine. Im still trying to practice and figure it out and i wanted to know why this EA wont work on strategy tester. I want to post the file with the code here but for some reason i cant view the file in my folder does anyone know how i can fix this?
Can you guys recommend on some online courses to learn to code MQL4 or a video library to learn from ?

I would be very interested to know if it is possible to create and EA for my trading strategy. To learn more about my strategy and all the indicators, parameters, settings, entry and exit strategies; see this below thread.

My idea for this strategy is purley based on a 5 RSI, nothing else but 5 RSI!!

Buys are placed when RSI crosses above 22, 50 & 62 (in the text below the buy levels are set slightly higher)

Sells are placed when rsi CROSSES BELOW 62, 50 & 22 (in the text below the sell levels are set slightly lower)

From my experience ive seen that the 5 RSI shows strong quick momentum during price moves in the FX market

My aim is to create (or rather for you to create for me) an EA that takes advantage of quick price moves around these areas and quickly gather 20 pips or as close as possible (my aim is to grab 10 pips so im aiming for 20 with slippage & the spread in mind).

Ive included a JPG of the buy/sell signals that would have been generated over the past month using this strategy (hopefully it helps).


Here is the Strategy:


0.1 CONTRACT (May change later, is it possible to just alter the numbers in the mq4 file when complete?)

SLIPPAGE = 3 PIPS

STOP LOSS = 30 PIPS

TAKE PROFIT = 20 PIPS (i know the risk is greater but given the momentum I am confident a stop that wide wont be hit + theres safety exits included)

SPREAD = 4 PIPS (normally 2 on my broker platforms)

ORDER IS GOOD FOR 3 HOURS ONLY

RSI = 5

BUY ORDERS:

WHEN RSI IS BELOW 21 AND CROSSES ABOVE RSI 23 PLACE A BUY ORDER.
CLOSE THE TRADE AT 20 PIPS PROFIT OR WHEN PRICE CROSSES ABOVE RSI 50
OR IF AFTER CROSSING ABOVE RSI 23, RSI DROPS BELOW RSI 20

WHEN RSI IS BELOW 49 AND CROSSES ABOVE 51 PLACE A BUY ORDER.
CLOSE TRADE AT 20 PIPS FROFIT OR WHEN PRICE CROSSES ABOVE RSI 63

Hi guys:

I think this EA is brilliant and with the correct settings it is statistically profitable in the long term.

However i am about dispiering becuase it work excelent with FxPro MT4 platform (for example) but it can't place any orders with OANDA, HOTFOREX, TRADINGPOINT, or even with the defaut MT4 download from metatrader4.com

The only difference i see between FxPro and those brokers wich it does`t place orders is that IT ISN`T ABLE TO PLACE TP/SL ON THE MARKET ORDERS (you have to make the order and then modify it to place TPs/SLs.

Maybe the EA is just not compatible because it must open first and THEN set stops

May somebody fix the EA to make it compatible??

Hi,, I am not expereienced with coding, so your helps can fix my problem I wish.. So kind to help for free.. I need a sound alert on the indicator attached. The sounds has to appear when the bar crosses zero line and open to the other side, usefull for my 1 min early short trend view, I can't watch the pc all the day and need to hear it. i love this indicator but i want it to draw the arrow at the close of the candle where the cross occurs.
I added price tags at the close of the bar and see file on how to adjust position.

Added the order modify after the order is placed for the SL and TP.

Theres something wrong with the MoneyMangement feature in how Lots are calculated. I have disabled but you can set Lots manually.
The Lots were being set in some ridiculous quantity and the orders could not be placed.

I also added 5 decimal compatibility.

If you say you are looking in the correct folder then maybe permissions are not set correctly in that folder.
Or are you saying you can see other EA's an indicators but not this one?

And as to why its not working in the Strategy Tester, have you had EA's work in the past or are you new to this?

Do you get any error messages when you hit Compile in the Editor?

This version uses Bid prices only. No Ask prices are used.

New Calculation Logic:
When Bid > Fibo 0 and previous closing candle is below Fibo 0 price -> Alert Fibo 0 Cross Up
When Bid < Fibo 0 and previous closing candle is above Fibo 0 price -> Alert Fibo 0 Cross Down

How can I convince an EA to read some buffers from those two indi's? Should I edit them 1st and change "extern int" into "int" ?

I need to download all data that forms a chart into a Excel Spread Sheet (not just the Date, Time, Open, Hi, Low, Close & Volume).
For example lets us say I have a chart that as an Exponential Moving Average - How can I download the data of the EMA as whell into an Excel Spread Sheet?

I know about iCustom, just confused on wether to specify the ext int into code or not...hope is solved now, will test it. Also, just realised, Cycle indi is filling into buffer 0 different values (1 or -1) from the other buffers, so it's much easier.
