Can some bright soul please explain what this setting is, how it works (an example would be appreciated) and whether or not in a live situation it can be relied on

If you have questions about your platform most have a "Help" tab at the top...click on it then on "Help Topics",you will find almost every answer you seek in there. From things about indicators, setting up email alerts, using expert advisors....etc....
