I see we have some new kids on the block and they've been blanketing all of the forum websites with ads. They look nice and they're in Australia which has pretty good regulation. If they're GoMarkets without the delays this might be a winner. Can anyone comment on their experience with them? (Account opening, Price Feed, Spreads, Etc.) - http://www.forexfactory.com/brokers.php?broker=1287

So far I haven't seen an ad. Are you promoting them or inquiring about them? FWIW ... others please do your own research before depositing money with any b0rker.

They're a new FF Preferred Broker and I've seen their ads on FF and Myfxbook. I'm asking does ANYONE have any experience with them? http://www.forexfactory.com/brokers.php?broker=1287

Vantage are a spinoff of Gomarkets and were even using the same sserver ad data until recently, I think they still use the same data. You will find nearly everything the same with tight spreads (when they want it that way).

Good service and features but like any market maker, read the PDS! You will find some very a$$ covering detail in there. Product Disclosure Statements here is Australia now allow these market makers to rip you off blind with no recall. I have a case with The Financial Ombudsman and ASIC for a market maker using MT4 who switched off the trading feature to cancell all my orders including the hedge positions set up days earlier.

Drill them with questions before opening an account and get it in writing and you will be ok.

LOL AFSL Pretty good regulation! you reckon!

Read the PDS... if they go bankrupt ( for whatever reason) your money could be toast

All the dam PDS does is warn you of risks ... ASIC is nothing but a toothless watchdog it is all about making it easy for industry participants NOT about customer safety.

I may suggest you find another one. I am using them as a backup
but I believe they have some algorithmic issue.
every time i take a position it goes against me and then it fill. does not matter if i close or open, for every side you will get about 1~ 1.5 pips difference.

Hello VFX,

I had 2 trades stopped out by a bad data spike yesterday that cost me over $400 , I have sent emails to my rep and your trades manager as yet I have had no reply.

As you can see Oanda admitted the spike was caused by bad data reinstated or busted the trades affected , as yet VFX have not replied to me .... Is this the level of service you offer ?

Hi Ianp

Yesterday we requested the correct tick data from our liquidity providers and we can confirm that the spike on the USD CHF was cause by bad tick data. We are currently in the process of reinstating those trades that were affected by the bad price spike on the USD CHF.

Hi everybody,
I have had an account at Vantage FX for three months.


Opening an account - very easy quick standard procedure, could not be better,

Depositing money on the fourth day from Poland (EU) - segregated acc. at Au National Bank

Trading - very low spreads, good choice of pairs, but here occured some problems with liquidity at night hrs on gold, had one issue with an abnormal pick, solved quickly satisfying manner by the staff

Withdrawing - quick and quite simple - on the fourth day money was back

Why I have changed: - communication problems - when I trade the there is no support there - only UK office ( the solution open an account at UK branch)
- mentioned above lack of liquidity

In all I am quite satissfied and when they solve the liq problems I might be back.

hello there mate...my lot size is only 1 standard lot...i dont take more than that...do u still suggest me to open an account with the uk branch...or if u have some other brokers in mind...you may post it here ,,,thanks in advance

I did not advice to You to open in UK branch - I wanted to say that it could be a solution for me in case I wanted to stay with the company.
As You want to trade standard lots (100.000 units of currency) You have a rather wider choice I think.
How long have You been trading, mate?

Thank you for your feedback, I would like to add that we have increased our liquidity providers and therefore we have tighten our spreads even further.

We have also settled into larger offices here in Sydney CBD, so the support desk here in Australia is back in full swing.
