We do not have a buyer or a seller yet. Market is awaiting outcome from imf meeting now scheduled @ 1700hrs. I reckon we will range from open etc as market makers / banks are taking the pis*

Asia made lows, ldn is barely touching them to close their books!
Let's see. btw by adding another lot I am BE @ 3660 anything above that is profit so will see how market moves.
For info: Lunch time for bank traders is 11-12 and moves at these times are always dodgy.
If we don't close the gap today we could go very low. It could prove to be a 500+ pip move if that is the case. Meaning the force in one direction is so strong that banks, brokers cannot get the gap closed and there are no BUY orders only sell!

it's not only EU. It's all other currencies in the box against $. Not all can afford to have gaps Euro in isolation is understandble!

I thought there were no gaps in Interbank market , the gap we see is our individual broker close/open - will not remark on this again tho , a topic for EU thread ( sorry Wormie )

yep but Interbank is different to trading. IB is mostly associated with "real business", currency exchange for tourism etc. Business deals usualy takes place on weekdays and Investment banks or hedge funds do that kind of deals.

Interbank do not have gaps, Banks, brokers, Hedge funds do when market opens! Hence they get filled by the banks, brokers to sort their books. So when I said in my previous post if we do not close the gap today we are doom'nd, I meant exactly the same!
Bank can only close the gap if they have enough power or orders on the opposite side. Asia couldn't do it. It's ldn's turn. If they can't then imagine there are no buyers at all and only sellers, euro will tank massively!!

Very dangerous to trade these broker gaps. I don't recommend it ... but what do I know

Here's one of those gaps that's still there after 2 weeks.
Wouldn't recommend trading these things ... If you want to take the counter setup, I believe you'd need more technical reason than the gap alone.
