Very generous of showing your work.

Myself I went long this time: first lot @ 1.3812, second lot 1.3819 and third @ 1.3813, all out @1.3831.
+19, +12 and +18.

I think I am going to shut down now and have a glass of red from McLaren Vale, shiraz 2009.

looking at your chart... i have a question...

why did you close your position? on what grounds or basis you come to a decision to close your exposure... was it because your TP reached or simply a hit and run MO? because i don't see any reason for you to exit position from that chart you posted.

here is how i saw your chart and with your trades...

in shorter tf... it's on uptrend... having higher swing high... and a strong breakout candle...

these all telling me an uptrend... and long was best bet...

and i will be in bull mode and the moment i see slowing down of momentum or signs of bull exhaustion... and only then i will consider of scaling down... if not sqauring my positions...

but again... it's just me

best if we should have a plan before we open any position... if we find ourselves off the plan, then best to close and re-assess ourselves...

the crucial moment in trading is during making a trade... the rest is just managing exposures...

it's pretty obvious that you're going against the trend... this is for seasoned traders... and not for faint hearted... didn't it come to you, it might just be a correction or retracement?

I could not resist, so I enter another trade short below the inside bar with two lots, SL above the bar, gained my risk and covered 1 lot and moved my S/L to B/E. Lets see what happens now.

why you sound worried when you just catch a strong trend... but you did the opposite when you were counter trending that's part of learning i suppose...

but hey, that can be very costly

but next time... on a strong trend... don't enter when it's forming her leg... wait at least for a pause or correction...

remember that trend never run in a straight line... it comes in zigzag and different forms... but not in straight line...

now this is the point where i always scaling down if i have multiple exposures... i can feel the pulse as price gyrates... it's bound for correction... but again... just me

preparing for attack now... at any pullback...

Yes I went against the trend because at the time the bears were weak, and I was looking for a quick trade against the trend, how did I know that? The bar was telling me, specially the last 20 seconds of it, I had 3 bars telling me same story, also some shorts go caught and they needed to cover pushing the trade in my direction.
