We must be aware: the substructure of the last wave down does not seem to be ready. I miss the subwave 5 so far, making the recent wave up to a subwave 4. Ideal target for this wave up would be around 3977 to 4007

Based on my monthly levels an ideal target for subwave 5 down would be 3865, 3818 or 3760

Fasten the seat belt always...
We faced already the first dark cloud [ just minor and there is still major ]...still lot of home work for bull ...

Disturbing thing is:

very high momentum in the move down from 410x

So I switch to daily TF and did a count there:

At Monday we had 5 waves down complete, making the surge up on Tuesday to a wave 2. With that said, the whole move down from 4280 may be now part of a wave 3 down, which would fit nicely with momentum considerations.

But momentum is sometimes a tricky thing.......

Hello guys,

EU in bearish mode, counter trend trades hardly work for more then 20 pips.

Made an attempt to long at 3890 with S/L 3874 and was stopped out.

The only level I see so far for COUNTER trends is 3850 or close to it.

Why didnt I take trend trade? We didnt have any good retracement and stops for intraday trades were just above 3950.

Yes, same here.

i am contemplating the downtrend going down to 3820 (might as well go to S1 may be on an overshoot) and then move back up to 39.70.

This is usual Chicago Merc EURUSD H4 Futures Volume chart.

The only level to go long in expecting for a bounce is 1.3837-1.3841 level. This is where PUT options levels are (red arrow & lines). SL just below.

Good scalping opportunities so far at 3850

Bear in mind however that those are scalps only. 3850 has been breached so I advise scalps and soon as the price gets to 5-8 points put stops at BE or take profit.

Next support is 3840 and 3830 respectively.

The only way this thing is going to go up is not on buys but on profit taking, so it could bounce from below.

I still like my level of 1.382, I have closed 2 shorts around there for 50 pips each.

Looking for a long but may not happen until late today ?
