How do you turn off or disable the alert function on an indicator?
Go into modify and ???
Slide
Find "Alert" or "PlaySound", type "//" in front of the line.

e.g. Change:

PHP Code
 Alert("Yadayadayada"); 
to:

PHP Code
 //Alert("Yadayadayada"); 
tigpips has it, if you want the code to permanently disable the alert.

If, however you want the alert to fire once and then disable it, you need to have some logic.

When I do that I get error messages when I compile.
Hmm what error did you get? Most probably there's another conditional function or a variable value change on the same line.

Or you can post your file here. We will see how we can help you with that.

Well I thought it was fixed but the alert is still popping up.

Maybe there is another Alert( . . . open the code in Meta Editor and use Ctrl + F to find Alert

Do you have a inside bar indicator with a # 159 wingding symbol to identify the inside bar and with no alert ?
The one I have is screwed up and driving me nuts.
