The trend is looking very strong. Me thinks that this baby is gonna see a bottom today around 124,50-124,70 level where it may be a buying pressure on the table. Im personally already long but more on a "medium term" position.

My next orders are around that level to run it up back there. The next resistance up there is at 125,50/70 level where it is gonna test the upside pressure.

GBP sold all over the board - this week we still wait for GBP results on thursday and friday. We could get a clearer picture when we get this data.

JPY is a hard madaFaka so it is gonna be a interesting battle on my behalf. My SLs will be placed under 123 level and will try to get some movement also on 123.30 resistance in the upcoming days/weeks.

OK, I will take this as a pinbar in my supply area!

Now we have to see maybe a nice pinbar also on 1h candle (close in 15 minutes around 124,83) - or at least another test of 125 level. Otherwise we still have a 124,50 to break for SLs

OK, as said we had a run down to 124.50 level to get some SLs from last 3 days...
This baby now tests 125.0000 - will see what US open will bring on a plate.
Of course there is always JPY on a menu but I think also GBPUSD is about to blast up-there - at least the pinbar on 4H looks delightfull.

Next target up is around 125,50 - 125.70

Down - again a test of 124.50

A clean break above the 125.11 will set the stage for 125.72.......play set for today for 100/200 point swing either way.

Yes, would agree that the main trend is down. The "great" trendlines go by 128,60 and it chopes down every buy it goes up around 126,50 for now.

Would also agree about the 125,10/30 resistance, which could easily be our next support for a break up, as said by amu123.
For a long setup we should not see today prices lower than 123,80 and a close around 125,10 level.

ATR levels for today are:

Long 125,77
Short 124,15

In my eyes also important level for today is 124,70. I think we should see a play around this area also.

Happy pippin!

just my two cent. i will have long bias, after those trendlines(in chart below) have been decisively broken, bounced off, slapped, and beaten to death preferably with a machete.

Since Jeb has gone on vacation, this thread has really gone to the dogs. The title of the thread is, "Daily GBP/JPY analysis" and now it has been hijacked by people who post anything and everything. So everytime I come here I have to wade through completely useless information that offers nothing to people who thought it was a GBP/JPY thread.

If you are going to post opinions about other pairs, please make a thread with a relevant title.

You will find he also posts on the thread titled "An Elliot Wave Technical Analysis For Gbp Vs Jpy". At this time, I would suggest GJ is still in wave B inside an ending diagonal triangle.
