I agree, I have 1.445 - 1.446 so not too far off.
I had a signal to go long at 1.436x but missed it.

That's my problem. Fundamentally I don't see it going down at all. But at the moment, chart say otherwise.
I suspect I should just trade my plan and that's a spike up. I'll re-assess later.

Todays PA appeared driven by the month ending - leaving me wondering if we see a sharp correction tomorrow.. any suggestions on that?

My Ichimoku outlook is all over the place at the moment and I should rather focus on organising next weeks holidays.

H1 remains bearish from 448 and 441 to 446 is the zone to to add short positions

Eyes are on H4 which is bearish from 440 (yellow) however kumo resistance is still in play and a bullish retrace to 440 and 448 seems possible. if the next h4 candle closes with a lower low it should clear the next wave down.

D1 remains bullish but a flat kumo top at 426 will attract a bearish retracement especially if 3 week lower trendline is breached. The Kumo is generally thin indicating a lack of direction.

Todays M5 gave me headache and I got the timing wrong at two occasions leaving me with half of yesterdays profits gone. two steps forward one step back... a bit frustrating but at least the direction is right.

As you can see ... TABLE shows a possible Elliott-Projection of 1.4277 in case of an extreme extention ...

Hence 1.4333/27 and or 1.4315 - 1.4290 expected to hold for now ...

Upside limited at first ... maybe 1.4390/ 99 (near central pivotal zone) capped at first ...

Afterwards ... when major move has been done ... we can expect further or one more upside again ... 1.4420 - 1.4439 is possible then ...

4h CHART , in my view 4475 very possible IF my daily close above 4373
It looks really bearish on my daily and weekly but it need spike to up at least to Hit Some Stop

Now it's boring Samurai session time ...

Daily and Monthly Closing has been done at 1.4369 (Chicago Settlement) ...

New "value dates" has been activated ... based on that fact ...

Dancing in the same place 3 months now, let's hope September brings more action. It broke the upper trendline (look D1 chart) but could not hold for long and now we are back in the same 3 month old carnival. As you can see it can't last long and it has to make a decision. August was awful for swing trading, only way was scalp trades, can't wait when it stats properly trending.

Good Morning Everyone

Summer vacation is over and the hot fall season is about to kick off and it could be a hot one indeed with USA credit problems potentially taking center stage, at least officially.
I have posted the attached chart on the EU thread a few days ago and wanted to post it here as well as it might give a view on the bigger picture of the market which i think is not so bad as smaller timeframes are currently a little confusing for some. Anyway, to better understand this chart here is the quote of what i noted 3 month prior ...this can be found here.... http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...21#post4597321 ....post 436794. So the low of the summer range of 1,3836 holds the key for this scenario. and if that breaks breaks SirMcPip was wrong with his analysis. This is the beauty of position trading. 3 or 4 charts a year is enough to be able to read the market story . A great and prosperous fall trading season to everyone.
