Traded the GBP short.

2.4:1 trade. (I don't care about pips! What did I risk? and what did I make? is ALL that matters. 1 unit of risk created 2.4 units of return. Meaning I over doubled what I risked. Just what I'm looking for!)

NOTE: All the indicators on the chart tell me something about the market, they DO NOT create the entry. They are all custom written by me. One does help me with the take profit. I'll teach this in the room if I get any takers. Right now it's only one person so unless I get some pickups by Friday, I'm not even going to bother. I'll assume the message is "nobody wants a trading room where they can finally learn to trade, they all want to buy robots and clickbank systems (1/2 of which were stolen from this forum and repackaged by actors!)" - of course this doe not include profitable traders, who don't need help.

One of the major rules of this little daily system is not trading until after the stock market opens. If you don't think the stock markets opening has any connection to forex, think again! I wait because I don't want to be in a trade knowing that a major event is coming. Just like you don't want to be in a trade just before news. + News has usually settled down by then too, so even on NFP days I can sometimes get a trade.

Here we see that I only managed a 1.29:1 trade today (risked 1 unit of cash to gain 1.29 units). Like I always say pips have no meaning. 1 person could be trading $1000 with a 10 pip stop and make 30 pips and triple the risk. To say they made 30 pips has no meaning! What is exciting is that they were able to risk $1000 to make $3000 3:1 ratio! Forget pips, it's like the biggest red herring in trading and I see so many people focus on it.

Ok, I think the trade above speaks for itself. My entry is reserved for IF I do a trading room. The exit (which is way more important as it's where you cash out) is due to a clear consolidation. This trade followed a 83 pip drop from the London session, I kind of felt I was in a retrace/profit covering phase, as the traders who rode down the 80 pips started to get out. Also the 'retrace' was to the 50% 62% area of the drop. Of course 50 is not a fib number, but it's significant on this pair, GBPUSD.

Well I have had the mind blowingly large number of 3 contact me. Maybe folks just don't want trading rooms? I'll do this till Friday and see what transpires.

Here's a final thought for you. Which trader did better?
Trader 1 made 1000 pips in a week
and...
trader 2 made 500 pips in the same week.

Which one did better than the other? (the answer should be a question)

I was very surprised to do so well today. I don't count it as a good day because I was lucky and missed my first entry and caught a later one that dropped surprisingly well. Why say this? Well I think you need to be honest with yourself in trading. When you start to think you are trading great because you have 'cracked the code' but the truth is the market was trending all week. You need to see that or else think yourself a genius and get a nice slap in the face next week when the market is choppy.

anyway... back to the point. over on the left of the screen you will see a rise in price, that should have been my entry, but I missed it. It would have been OK, maybe 2:1. So I took a little risk and took the one you see above, and it just kept on dropping. LuckY! I only went in with 1/2 my normal size so it only counts as a 1.5:1 trade where, on paper it is more than 3:1.

Well that's it for today. I cant see this idea flying, only 4 people expressed an interest. I almost did not bother today, but I remembered that I said I would do it till Friday, so I'll keep my word (as I should).

Given the amount of utter crap that is out there, if you are offering a serious trading room that is actually profitable, I am sure you will get a very large number of people as word gets out. I think people are just naturally skeptical having spent so much time and money on bad, unprofitable trading rooms. But you may have to be a bit patient if you are serious about this for people to find you.

I think the biggest thing that a person who is genuinely interested in giving value is up against, is that there is so much mis-information that people are expecting to get 100% per month, or that it's easy, or just follow this or that system and its easy etc etc. I see the clickbank product launches, the same formula every time and it works dammit! People buy those things in droves. (I did hear the refund rates are through the roof and a lot of affiliates wont bother promoting forex products now, so that's good news!)

First, trading is B****DY HARD! It takes years to get comfortable with this crazy business. Second, most are underfunded with unrealistic expectations. If you have 10k and you are just wanting to slowly grow it faster than putting it in the bank then you can do that. If one is expecting to make a living, they are in for a very serious awakening.

If you told many mainstream investors that there's an investment that can get them 10% per month (120% a year) they would be suspicious because that would be considered high, and yet many people (new traders) in forex scoff at 10% like it's too low.

No loosing trade this week , that could not have come at a worse time. People will think I'm a genius. I'm not! There will be losses, just typically less losses than the winners.
