That is indeed a great daily return Danc. Congratulations from a fellow Aussie, and yes, V's strategy is fantastic and I have been using it for several years now.

Just been checking your 27 attachments.. Bldy nice examples.. have put on desk top and will browse hard over weekend..Notice u trade Euro open.. I have been doing same same and has been quit kind to me.. i also watch Aussie /jy..somtimes good..But this V stuff really sharpened me up.. makes me focus more..my biggest prob is trying to see things there that are not.. trying to force the trade or will it to happen..I find if i continualy go back over Vs stuff it brings me back to reality..mixed bag for me tonite so far..

Just took this one.. based on 1 hr before JPY open.. h15 min chart and 5 min.. hier low,, breaking of consolidation as per hoz line and angle o f em 5 and 8 w.. closed now.. for 28.. also watching 5/10 m live DXY with day and week pivots marked on..Actualy was watching from.. the open in NZ.. at 7.30 am aussie time..

Watching.. EUJPY.. 4 hr and 1 hr look like hier btms to me.. last 5.. 1 hr bars consolidate inside 1 single bar.. currently contained between.. daily and weekly mid pivot points .. w.. 110.00 and day 109.70.. my bias is long so will look for break above weekly mid point then consolidation for hier low enter point..

Watching to buy above 4300.. noticed it is trading abovelast 2 week pivot center lines and above daily pivot.. trading above 4300 would be a break of trend line and clear hier low.. just my opnion of course..and at this point would be trading above daily fibo pivot R3..

Extract from Ralph Shells latest.. on USD..

The TIC Long Term Purchases was only $3.7B down from last period's $24.2B. Since this data is two months old, we only have a glimpse of what the bankers have done, not what they are now doing. Probably more important is the gigantic surge of M2, up $420B in the last six weeks. In Seeking Alpha, the Calafia Beach Pundit says:

"Something big is going on, and it can only be the financial panic that is sweeping Europe, as money flees a banking system that is loaded to the gills with PIIGS debt. In short, it looks like there is a run on the European banks, and the U.S. banking system is the safe haven of choice."

The money flow from Europe says the USD, not the pound is the haven of choice. We have had a three day rally in the pound versus the USD, taking us up from a low of 1.6111 to today's high of 1.6408. Currently we are trading at 1.6384. We want to sell the pound versus the USD at current levels. The logical stop point is 1.6550, but logical stop points are not always the best place. Often everyone has stops there, low hanging fruit for the market makers.
Also lower tops on....EU/UD Daily.. notice were trend line is if u run trendline off first 2 ?? possible Shortish i think??

Am short at 4426.. based on daily lower tops.. about 5 fibos coming in on current hi... and shape of current 15m and 5 mincharts,,.. stop is above current daily hi.. havnt time to pst chart will later..also below daily PPX and weekly pivot resistance of .618% at 4435..which i see as very significant.. just my thinking ..

Obviously no lower his as per V method.. but i am short and my bias is short and i am hunting lower his as per Vs method.. to add to.. using as well 8w.. 5and 34.. and a 96 w on 15/5 min charts..

A classic example of why some people do not like indi's.

I missed this yesterday, watched the charts all morning, didn't see anything I liked. We had an out of season storm so I switched the charts off went upstairs and ended up having a 3 hr snooze (trying to get rid of last bits of flu).

Anyway a perfect eur hammer on 1hr, obviously after that buys is the way to go. 5 min chart, the red line shows the close of the hammer, there were several hl, little/no upper wick opportunities to enter.

Anyway back to indi's the hammer is a perfect set up but doesn't lead to a fozzy cross upwards or in this case even the rsi itself turning up. That 1hr hammer too good to have ignored.

I'm not even trying to figure what the big boys are doing at this stage. There are lots of places this can turn, just hoping for some clean candles like Y on eur.

When a D chart has this many potential SR areas anything can happen. Eur D is on a hl, we broke last SR level 4400, hit the upper TL so that might just be a bounce lower. Normally I'd be thinking up from here, but like I say haven't got a clue.

GU for now has just posted a nice hammer off M2, a high vol line (brown) and just above the 12 Aug high. So for now I'd be thinking the move down is the LO head fake and we are moving up.

If there's a hl buy problems could be D P at 6350, Asian lows just above that.

Anyway we have to wait and see what follows this hammer.

Its time consuming to post these live as it were, risking missing a trade, but I've been asked before what I look for as day progresses. This is pretty much it, good candles, poss SR levels if I make a trade and where It could get into pooh.

Vantage, just wondering if you still consider volume in your analysis at all? I noticed that the hammer was on falling volume. Would that lessen your confidence in it at all?

GU just closed a 5 min lh, still not selling if it goes lower quite prepared to miss out this one. Even comparing the 1hr lwma which is sharply down and comparing the 1hr lwma on eur chart above which was pretty much flat not interested in a sell here.

Gu right on 50% of Y's range and hammer low around 62%.
