By the way it sounds like... you guys haven't thought of the legitimate way of approaching this issue without getting scammed. So here is my advice if you care to listen.
IF... I was to sell my system/method, this would be the legitimate way of how I would be doing it:
1. I would be providing at least 5 years of consistent profitable trading statements/accounts. Any legit seller will have this in possession with no problems.
2. The selling price would be an equivalent of the last 3 years of profits. So if you are curios, you are looking around between $750,000 to $1,250,000.
3. If you just want to look at my account statements so you can go to bed at ease knowing that there is a proof of what is possible in trading; The percentage gained monthly, yearly, how consistent the trading, to see the length of position held, to put the final nail in the coffin of whatever lingers in your curiousity about what is possible... the asking price is $50,000. This is because the moment you see the account, you break your limiting belief and can see the possibility, you then become a real competitor against me. (Just like breaking the 3 minute mile, no one would believe it until it was seen to be believed, the moment that happened it was later achieved by many). Also the price is high because if you are smart enough, you can gain a lot of information by having access to it. You can keep all the account statements for $50,000.
4. Teaching it would be simple... 2 years of guiding/teaching the system. So to make sure everything is polished with no uncertainties about using the system/method. Trades taken will be the exact identical as I would trade it and will be explained in details. A test to ensure that all theory and knowledge has been cemented into the trader. After 2 years of trading and the account does not produce at least 20% profit, 100% refund will be given.
5. There is no backing out of this transaction. So if you change your mind, you have no right to do so for whatever reasons... but of course, I will make sure you don't get scammed nor will I, so this is how we do it...
6. You get your lawyer and I get mine. All documents are certified and all agreements, conditions, negotiations and transactions are handled once all the above points have been executed. Both lawyers can certify that every conditions are met and can execute the transaction. This including every teaching/training session provided must meet certain standards or your payment will be refunded... by our lawyers.
So... if you are thinking of parting with your hard earned money and you are not getting a similar deal to this, more likely you are getting scammed. If someone is willing to show you their account for free, more likely they are only making pennies ($100,000 - $300,000) Do you really think Tiger Woods pays his trainer $5,000? Do you think Freddie Roach's asking price is $10,000? NBA coaches?

Are you fking kidding me? If I had that sort of money to spare I wouldn't need your trading system, I'd sooner teach myself than part with 10 years of an above average full time salary. . So how much are you willing to pay for a business that will make you between $3-$10 million in 10 years? If you can find a real trader that will teach you for free then I'm very happy for you.

That's the whole point of this thread.
Now considering I don't need this book to keep progressing I honestly don't care whats in it. I just know the guy can open my mind to things I haven't thought of before and so it will pay for itself in that regard.
There's no way in hell I would pay over $1000 for any sort of training or mentoring becasue I don't feel I need it.
That's why your post struck me... I can't say it was easy but don't you find satisfaction in doing something yourself? Like if you had the option of building your own dream home or simply paying a bunch of builders to do it for you (if you had the choice remember) which would you choose?
Like Paris Hilton or say someone who won the lottery. Sure it's nice and all but whats a life where everything is handed to you? I guess I'm just sentimental about these kind of things in a way.
I think all I'm saying is 1) maybe I'm a cheap scate lol and 2) there's so much more value in nutting out your own sculpture. Hand crafted, old skool, sentimental shit lol
On that note I'm not some genius millionaire trader but I find comfort in the fact that I broke the mold many dream of breaking whereby I have the tools to take myself to whatever level I wish. this isn't optimism this is just knowledge about where I'm at. These guys philosophy is not that someone is taking experience away from them, its about stepping up their game to a higher plateau. That is what you are paying for... of course you can also pick up a bucket shop trainer, no one is going to stop you... again, just don't forget you are playing in the professional league

I did pay $150K for the unification theory of Gann cycles with elliot waves theory to produce a more dynamic exit. And all was legit and was done through lawyers that met strict standards. This was just a year ago.
