Last trade for today. I overtraded it a little, just to make "stress" test and show different scenarios, like countertrending. Overall +0.75% for the day. Tomorrow we are back in discipline, with trend trades.

We are probably having a tougher day than usual today, ahead of the FOMC meeting later. Like NFP days, most of these are choppy ahead of the news, so take caution with all your trades and stay out of choppy areas!

This was a valid signal, however we are in a range area, and I am not comfortable taking these kind of selling opportunities.

Possible efort/no result pattern forming on M15 chart also, which could signal a bigger selling move today.

Possible break to the upside now, in a small position, took some partials that cover my risk.



Update: Got out for a small winner. Not breaking up yet

Reentry yielded some sweet profits . As you see, you have to find the right balance between cutting losses fast and letting your profits run.

Here we have the shakeout pattern. Effort to rise followed by effort to fall. In this case with a nice doji touch between them. Designed by sharks to fool the little fish

Scalping the 1 minute chart requires quick hands, but it's a good strategy to employ on choppy days like today
