Hi,

I was actually doing well....I got a bit greedy and care free about watching the amount of positions and got whacked quite hard.

My original deposit amount was $500. It dwindled down next to nothing.

I had about $2 bucks left. I waited a few months to rethink my strategies.

I am back on board. I added a $100 to see if I can recover the rest from this roll. I have a few thousand saved, but don't want to deposit it all. If I can do well with $100, I should be able to recover the $500 that was lost.

I'll post from time to time showing my results.....let's see what happens.

Currently I'm in a few hedged positions....

I have 3 USDCHF buys at:

.80301, .80125 and .78805

I have 1 EURUSD buy at:
1.44573

My Balance is: $103.79
Equity: $83.86
Open Profit: -$19.93

So the tips are a bit unbalanced now with more CHF than EUR.....

Sadly, here are my trade results thru July 2011....

Hoping I can turn things around....

Its been a downhil battle so far.

I made many mistakes. My original plan was working great. What went wrong was I got greedy, I started buying into positions like crazy using up alot of leverage and worst yet, I started experimenting to improve my techniques.

The hints should have been evident that the new stuff wasn't working....but oh well...

here I am again....with $100 bank roll trying to recover the $500 that I helped put in someone else's pocket.

Let's see how I do...

Here are my current open positions. I just closed two fairly large EUR positions that were in positive.....made a nice bundle off them, but still in the hole....

The red horizontal lines show my previous positions that I closed out on Friday...now I have to manage the remaining open positions back to profit....

My lowest CHF position jumped up around +53 pips....so I closed out for half the position and moved it to BE+1.

I also opened up another EUR position to balance out the hedge a bit.....

So I brought my equity up a bit from Friday's close:

FRIDAY's RESULTS:
Balance: $103.79
Equity: $83.86
Open Profit: -$19.93

TODAY's RESULTS:
My Balance is: $105.12
Equity: $92.85
Open Profit: -$12.30
Gains: +53 Pips

Took out 21 pips of partial profits from my last EUR entry and got stopped out. Just re-entered another full position again.

TODAY's RESULTS:
My Balance is: $105.12
Equity: $92.85
Open Profit: -$12.30
Cumulative Gains: +53 Pips

CURRENT RESULTS:
My Balance is: $106.21
Equity: $94.49
Open Profit: -$11.65
Cumulative Weekly Gains: +74 Pips

Both my EURUSD and USDCHF pairs shot straight down......dragged in some draw down for me....no sweat....

I added a position to EURO again at the very bottom around 1.42003....I am letting my CHF's run negative and time a better entry back up.

Went ahead and closed 3 positions 2 EUR and 1 CHF position...

CURRENT RESULTS:
My Balance is: $108.69
Equity: $81.09
Open Profit: -$27.62

Those rat b-stard brokers....I tried to fund my account with more $$$ early this morning as I've done in the past without any hitches....and of course, they still haven't cleared my funds as they did in the past. Why did I know they would hold off....

Then I caught the bottom of the move today....and of course, price spikes just enough to margin out my weakest position before taking off....set me back another $19 out of my pockets.

Its cool.....because all that's coming back in my pocket.

CURRENT RESULTS:

Equity: $65.48
Open Profit: -$18.39

The basis are loaded with more ammo coming.......gonna get all my stash back......rat bastids can't keep me down.

Well I ended up dumping a couple hundred more in my account to give me a fighting chance to win the margin back..then I'll pull out the extra loot...

I have 1 remaining EURUSD position open and the rest are simply USDCHF..

Any reason you haven't posted for a month?

I like your idea of growing your account to 100 000, by trading plus 200 per month, as long as you stick to that you wont be risking too much. DOnt get greedy like me lol.

Hi all, gosh, its been too long since I posted in my journal. I think part of it is a lack of time, but I know its necessary.

I do have a forex trade log on here in the Trades section for those who want to follow along....

So far I'm in a slightly over 50% DD....looking to wiggle my way out if I can...

I'm holding the following positions all buys:

EURAUD:
1.27454
1.28169
1.28026
1.27743
1.27372
1.27025
1.27266
1.26715

I also have a pending buy limit set at 1.26140

I took these trades during the holidays. Prior to this the account was holding strong at a 30% gain....

So we'll see how it goes.

On my larger account that's not posted, I have 2 positions on EURAUD at 1.2666 and GBPAUD at 1.5168

I added $200 to the account. Drawdown continues....market is still having effects of the holiday season and hasn't normalized yet...

May add a few more bucks to keep the account alive....but will try not to if I can help it.

I'm mad at myself that I even traded during the holidays..oh well...I may be able to get out of this though...
