They should have kept up the verbal intervention at least, or ramped it up. Its the only thing keeping usd/jpy from caving.

i try to take it easy on friday but... "EFSF might not be ready to loan Greece the next loan tranche by mid semptember" at 6:40 EDT... easy money into the stops....

"greece will get the next bailout loans if it meets it's critieia", says EU president's spokesman at 7:11am EDT "next bailout from bilateral loans not EFSF"... ha... more easy pips on the on covers? with far east reserve managers at the lows.... they like the 30-40 area and hate USD's right now...

looks like we might get a UJ dump soon?

Good GDP numbers > risk on > EurAud goes down.

Bad GDP numbers > risk off > EurAud goes down.

depending on the outcome of the data... better then expected can see a squeeze on euro, i think the market pretty much wiped out longs and is getting short now and UJ is short so if it's good they can be squeezed too

im not sure i would play eur/aud right now at all...

Haha, I also saw it as an opportunity to buy. And then GDP news was really helpful.

So No risk aversion simply a could case of bad news for US and USD going down also numers on cad gdp amplified ecad.
