DislikedThe angle is simply the change in the vertical measure (pips) divided by the change in the horizontal measure (time), i.e. (y0-y1)/(x0-x1). It effectively expresses a rate of change. Of course the slope changes visually as one adjusts the scale by zooming in/out, but the ratio of pips to time remains the same, allowing valid comparisons of different scenarios.Ignored

when measuring angles of ma's we need the ability to specify 2 points in time.... to best visualize what's being done i've written it to create 2 triangles...... red for a downtrend and blue for uptrend....
the first picture shows the 2 triangles with bold magenta lines on the hypotenuse.... let's just use the blue one..... you'll notice the blue 56.92 to the right of the blue triangle...... that is the angle in degrees of the ma at the blue triangle.....

i am running an improved version of that now.... it's coded to never short the dollar or buy the swiss franc or yen....... still, even hamstrung by those additional rules, it has yet to have a losing trade.....

Interesting, how many winning trades have you made veres the time period?
prior to this month there is almost no way to tell.... most of my accounts are running many ea's placing thousands of trades.... sorting out the 451's trades would be tough.....
by coincidence, i opened a new account that will only run 451..... the starting balance was 100$..... so original lost size was scraping the bottom of the barrel..... first trade was...Ignored
