Been range trading so far this morning so MA cross traders are seeing lots of signals but no trades on the E/$ and GBP/$.
This thread is one of those "what works and what doesn't work" threads. Just to be consistent, TA and indicators do not work. Only traders who know how to use TA and indicators "work". I rely on about 10 "things" to trade, but there are hundreds of people here who can tell you why those "things" don't work. Well, I know how and when to use the "things" that I do to trade. That is the challenge for everyone here (to come up with something that will work for you).
As for MA crosses, it is important to know that (a statistically significant amount of time) most fx traders have already entered trades before the MA crosses occur. For me, a MA cross is something to take note of as my trade developes, and for some fx traders, the MA cross is a place where they start to think about adding positions to existing positions.
Good trading everyone!
