This kind of censorship just proofs Forex Factory is made for Brokers(advertisement) and by brokers (watchdogs observing the dump flock of traders). Its like MT4/5, its made for the broker, not for the trader. That's the forex industry.

not saying this applies to u or any1

but this sort of comment generally come from people not making money in trading..call it whatever..price is price, u never going to know if a broker is on the opposite end of yur trade..

and beside it takes a lot to move the market

if the broker got any sense he going to follow my trades

Sorry, you seem to miss complete my point regards the censorship of FF, changing title of the thread to hide brokers name, Alpari UK, in this case.

It's my opinion that Forex is a Jungle, even if there are many organizations that (should) protect us, little private investors and it is (quite well) regulated. Technologies are very sophisticated and able to make huge gains to the detriment of poor us.

I have already written in other forum that we are lambs and they (brokers) are wolfs.

I hope that facts like this that happened to you, will arrive to a right conclusion that will modify Forex in a more honest environment where to invest money.

I think how you managed to grow your account is pretty fantastic, and the fact that Alpari is keeping the money from you is just plain wrong.

I had a read through the thread and there has obviously been input from Alpari staff trying to make you look like a fool so that your complaints can be dismissed.

Don't give up their just trying to wear you down, I can imagine this has been horribly stressful for you and I think in reality you should even be able to claim compensation since Alpari has taken your trading funds and frozen the account, when your primary income source is from trading.
Alpari is going into my blacklisted broker book, joining Oanda and Saxo. I suspect after a while, all forex brokers will join them in the blacklist. Is stricter regulation by the relevant authorities on these brokers the only saving grace for forex trading? Do the brokers want stricter regulation on them? If otherwise, then don't bite the hand that feed you.

It does not take much effort for disgruntled customers to lobby the authorities to tighten the regulation on the broker. For the little that these brokers squeezed out of their customers, they are killing their own business eventually.
I think trading with any market maker you will run into these problems if your doing well.
Reading this thread was a buzz kill. Researched brokers for 10+ hours and concluded Alpari was in my top 3.

Can I experience some of the problems mentioned here in their ECN accounts, e.g Alpari (US) Direct?
I don't wish for this to be a "told you so post" but the UK is a highly liberal country with ever more relaxed laws, it is a breeding ground for fraud and attracts people from all over the world who come here to setup scam businessses. I've literally seen it all from credit cards to loans, property investment to car insurance.

Having been the victim of numerous scams myself I can vouch that the FSA and the financial ombudsman are completely useless. There are businessses operating in the UK that receive thousands of complaints daily and the FSA still allow them to trade.

There is trading standards, but Alpari will need to receive hundreds of thousands of complaints before they step in, as for virtual dealer, the FSA will just say "what's that?" and put you through the financial obdusman, who will do nothing. Seriously the caliber of service you get there will shock you, you'll get some brain dead plonker who barely speaks english and is only employed to make the company more "diverse", either that or you'll get a dumbed down trainee who has the intelligence of a monkey. IF you do manage to get someone that's employed because they have the requried skills for the job, they'll just delete the notes on your file after you hang up and you'll go through the whole process again.

After a few days on the phone to these idiots and being passed from pillar to post, you'll come out just like me, bitter and angry and thinking that the whole establishment is a scam! lol

Honestly, I would take your business to an Australian or US regulated broker. By all means try and sue for your money and I wish you the best of luck with that.

If you are looking to trade CFD's, use MF Global. I've traded CFD's with them for nearlly 2 years on AIM oil stocks and I made a lot of money, withdrawels were the same day via chaps, it's non MT4 but their platform is very good and there is no such thing as requotes.

I have Alpari UK Pro and I regret I am with them. Pro Account by the way is "ECN". Ecn my ass!

My execution price of a pending order is ALWAYS WORSE. I get slipped constantly for 1-2 pips and with the size I trade this makes a HUGE difference. On every trade I lose 100 dollars, this is ridiculous! That's like some crazy commission and they receive that money, not me!

Execution is slow, while with Oanda I could close trades instantly.

I found a penny today. That's +100 pips for me.

He did start the thread with "Alpari UK". It was subsequently changed by FF to "broker". (Refer to Page 10 of this thread).

The prices all come from indirect counterparties, and both the prices and the depth of the market come directly from this marketplace.
As such Alpari can exert no control over pricing or market movement.
It should be understood that slippage can occur in all moving markets, and no market participants, from InterBank market-makers down to microlot scalpers are immune to this. This is nothing more or less than the basic principles of Supply and Demand in operation.

However, we should make it very clear that Alpari in no way benefits financially from such slippage as this poster suggests.
If any customer has any complaints that they wish us to investigate please provide full details to [email protected] and we will be happy to assist.

Names and transparency rules for me, before risking a single dime with your company again...

You slipped me to death in the past. How it comes it never happened in my favor??
If the authority body wouldn't be so weak in UK you would be out of business sin ages, that's for sure.
I moved all trading activities to down under, there ASIC is a strong supervisor. Your business model wouldn't even get a license there.

Finally a live report from a pro account user, I was awaiting since long time. Thank you! It confirms they don't have any business ethics..
It doesnt matter what kind of acc. type they offer, all are heavily manipulated. Just stay away..
All of the counterparties are drawn from Banks that participate in this liquidity pool.


These Banks prefer to deal with counterparties of known financial credibility, such as ourselves.


That is why you settle with us, and we settle with the counterparties (remember these can be more than one per trade) on a net transactional basis on your behalf at the end of every day.
