My short of last night was stopped at BE.
I will try to counter 4465 if we get there. Above 4440 there are stops so it may give an impulse to 4465 next important level.

Still dont forget we are in uptrend so basically I will miss NEXT 1st wave up and again wait for a retracment to enter.

That makes sense, it's useful to use terms like short or long instead of entry or EP
One little typo and the whole trade went the other way

Thisis what i'm looking at atm.
Possible H&S on 30min. Below 1.4387 down, I have 1.4335 as target but T.'s level of 1.4345 may see some bounce.
I know we are in a strong uptrend but I don't see 1.4440 being broken on first attempt and no big news are looming as far as I know.
If a retest of 1.4440 is being made now, I will try a counter trade at the top with tight SL

I read somewhere that vast majority of confirmed H&S formations is on bigger TF's minimum H1 but it's considered to be a ideal H4-H8 bar formation taking weeks to develop.
On smaller timeframes the validation is just above 60% which is almost random.

Hi Stulic,
I agree, the higher the TF the better.
I'm actually looking at this one on H1 but I gave the M30 chart as it is easier to spot.
I don't recommend the trade as it is counter trade atm (still I will take the trade if the opportunity occurs)

If we reach it, 1.4475 would be a much better place to enter S.
I have 1.452 as my ovreall max for longs.

I figured out (a bit late as usual) it's time for me to get rid of my bearish bias about the Sterling.
Looking at the daily chart, cable literally rocked and rolled most of this and start of last week, blasting through conjoined 55 and 90 day EMA's today.
I don't see any technical reason for this pair not to target 1.64 and 1.65 in extension next week, let alone any fundamentals anymore.
Daily is as bullish as you can get.

I'm long 1.6290, will manage manually.

good thing B just said no big news today. somehow i was convinced it was NFP day and hence the ranging at this level.

looking forward to 1.4455-75. 55 is a cycle open from yesterday and 75 is top of a pitchfork.

have a gartley that invalidates around 50 pointing down.

volume wise i'd say we are going down. there a 15m up candle on a move down with the biggest vol. usually i see these as a try to run up that got stopped strong and consumed demand.

it's the 3rd time we touched the 390 and didn't shoot up. as if demand is being consumed, too.

pretty awkward on my view.

so, pitchfork points up, my cycles point up and everything else points down. since i trade the first 2 , i am long
