well, to be honest I knew and told u folks they've been defending this level..
I thought maybe due to option and nfp market will take the level out but damn mighty BOE!! They deserve the applause

All I wanted was 50 pips...got none, nada 0

Why are BOE big buyers at 1.6? What exactly are they defending? Central banks have more to worry about when their currency has too high a value

Not long ago all the talk was "currency wars" - with all major nations trying to devalue their currencies in a bid to boost exports and therefore , their respective economies.

Besides this CB intervention rarely works - look at the Yen - combined intervention from several leading economies and it's back to levels it was at before

i got greedy didnt want to miss south train..lost all my profit this month + 2.88 pounds

pissed

then i entered again short at 1.629 thinking short bet 1.6 and the sum bitch wore me out waiting..i exit at a loss and now the mofo look to start to sink

i had it this week..weekend come at a good time if u ask me

look at euro yesterday bullish pin and the sum bitch failed..trading is definately very tricky at the moment..coming like a coin toss

Simple, inflation...look at EU and Aussie, Kiwi, CAd other then UK and US, Japan all other econimies have raised rates to fight inflation. to USA, Japan it doesn't matter since they produce enought at home. However UK is in a mess because they rely on outsource products...if pound is expensive they can fight infaltion without the need to raise the rates. But if pound is weak and oil, gas etc going higher....country will go down the drain. Specially when govt is looking to do massive cuts with private sector also doing the same.

my instinct tell me to buy the pound..i think these levels are very low..usd is a pile of poo..figures always suck..if it had gone to 1.58 id have bought it and keep it for a long time..

oh well..years to next week guys cheers

GBP USD: on the daily the GBP is rising and the USD is falling:
GBP Strong against the USD EUR and CAD, and weak against the CHF JPY NZD and AUD.
USD Strong against the EUR and CAD, and weak against the GBP CHF NZD and AUD.

Weekly the USD is stable and stronger than the GBP which is falling.
GBP is Strong against CHF and JPY and weak against USD EUR JPY AUD and NZD.
USD is strong against EUR GBP CHF and JPY and weak against CAD AUD and NZD.

Monthly Directionally USD is weakening and the GBP is strengthening ( GBP has been down for so long this could be viewed as a correction) but the USD is still has more strength.
GBP is strong against the EUR and weak against the USD CHF JPY CAD AUD and NZD.
USD is strong against EUR and GBP and weak against the CHF JPY CAD AUD and NZD.

Strength and weakness is measured by a 3 period MA crossing over on open/close.

What does this mean, for sure I will tell you next week, as a forecast it looks like some indecision with a probable up day on monday correcting to short side on tuesday with a breakout to the down side the being more likely than a break out to the up side.

Shoot me if I am wrong, I welcome all constructive comments.

I will start with my scalp calls from next week and will post screenshot of results everyday. My statistics for past week: Down $200. I was up $1200 until Friday and got caught on that news craziness (EURUSD)

Hi all,

Since a few days i am out of my screen, but i trade only one pair according to the Daily, Gu, i am already short on this pair 6050, pending second short 6145 (near TL) with a S/L at 6210 because above price will be inside the ascending TL at this level.

Price didn't close above, and stay in prior weekly candle, area of 1.6060 resistance of some weekly candle just have a look on the left of your chart.

I have different TP first PA have to break 5910, and a good idea to load more short on the break or retest of this area.

Target Profit area 5830-5710 and 5500 Low of different Monthly candle.

This is my plan if we stay inside the last Bearish Weekly candle.

in a blink we are seeing again some rather serious levels after friday's crazyness. Now we have to see what Londong guys think about it. For GU levels keep being the same, while for EU we are facing the daily-weekly LTL. Euro seems to be more bearish atm and my first target for this down move could be 4028 (unless there is a reaction of the LTL and of 4230 S/R).

Woah 1 min? you guys rock!....it's hard for me to follow the trend by looking at hourly charts and above let alone 1 min...honestly speaking i myself am looking for a buy opportunity but would like to see a reversal on the hourly first....may the pips be with you
