NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--The euro extended its losses Tuesday after Moody's Investors Service downgraded Portugal's credit rating by four notches and into junk status.
Moody's slashed Portugal's rating to "Ba2" from "Baa1" and assigned a negative outlook on the rating. The rating was cut because of worries Portugal might need a second round of financing and that it might not be able to meet deficit reduction targets.

tested highs of arround 1.6090 and is testing the low of of arround 6045 again, for my money with a 20 pip stop it will bounce.

The attachment is USD CHF and gbp USD with a HA and prettly little stochastic, the top 3 small screens are USD XXX's and the botton 3 XXX's USD's.

This is a very volitale time of day, who dares wins/or loses.

Hey mate, unfortunately, "euro is the most" manipulated currency of the market since the start of eurozone crisis (it was pound before) and as a consequences of that pound suffers sometimes, specially during asia hours for SL hunt. Also it has been ranging from 60 to 61 from a while. Bottom is at 60ishh..

Good comment I am not doing a straddle trade for the news have a buy stop on at 6041 if this fails its is me done for the night.

No I won't be cashing in. I have 3 open shorts from yesterday all in +ve & covered thru scalps. As long as price stays below 6154 I won't be budging. We jump higher, I'll look to scalp again when the momentum dies down, else I will look to add once price close below 5915.
I mean seriously, most of us been waiting for cable to close below that massive daily ltl for weeks & the monthly is bearish, why chicken out now?
6154 is my shorts's breaking point.

i have same game plan..if the mofo cant break 1.61 then she going down..breaking the weekly low..then trade starts

added on euro as well..lets be lucky bro!!

btw azim on dailly i make it a bearish channel..kinda like a flag u see the same thing or am i seeing what i wanna see

damn straight!!

bullish engulf highlighted must have screwed plenty of accounts..this is what i mean by trading has evolved..6 months back that would have been a a solid buy signal

Switch to the cable daily, have the 30 & 120 ema placed.
They're about to crossover & when they do, price will usually rise or fall like no tomorrow. Hence the term "death cross".
Currently, the 30 & 120 is about to cross down, probably in a day or two, so let's watch how far it goes. It's not everyday you get these massive crossovers to happen.

I didn't create this mas xover by the way, it was taught to me by a friend about a year ago & I was reminded by him again yesterday. So let's see.
