All trades are currently closed now and I am waiting for the close of the candle in about half an hour to see if any entries are confirmed.

Watching eurgbp looks like it may be ready to enter, and there are quite a few pairs that are in overbought or oversold, so will be keeping a close eye on what they do...

total pips since start of demo on 27/05/11 is 2097.1

In this trade you have your entry at 0.89764 and SL 200. Does that mean your stop is at 0.89964?

Hello,

Have you considered adjusting your trade size as your equity rises and falls, I adjust mine to reflect a certain percentage of the account. As the account grows my trade sizing increases. If I take a hit I reduce my trade size. This way I keep my percent exposure the same all the time. Hopefully the trick is to trade bigger and bigger to the point where you say hey, wait a minute this is getting to be huge and then either withdraw some profits and get back to a reasonable level again without having too much on the table. Just a thought, wondered how you handle this aspect of money management.

Yes, this is something I consider and would normally do on an account if this was the only strategy I was trading - compounding can be a beautiful thing.

Moving forward I am integrating this strategy into my existing live account, which has open trades at all times, accordingly I will (for now at least) keep to the same lot sizes I am demoing.

a great journal. It shows how stress free and simple trading can be if you have the patience.

Can you tell me what EA/tool you are using to manage your jumping Stops ? I don't have access to a PC whilst at work so my stops are currently set before I go to work.

Hey Stan3188,

yes this has really shown me that trading doesn't need to be long hours and lots of stress

Trade still heading in the right direction, although it hasn't made it to breakeven yet, but came close reaching 48 pips. Hopefully overnight it will hit breakeven.
