I;ve found the indicators and the excel chart... like Vlad I have struggled a litle to follow this thread... I wondered a few things and would grateful if some kind soul couple confirm a few things --

+ When you enter a position, eg. on the Three 3 basket, how do you evaluate the best time to exit?

+ I've watched the drawdown management videos a few times and it still isnt sinking in (aaargh), it seems you enter further positions in the direction of the profit making trade (eg. if Sell trades are in profit you enter more sell trades). Do you do think by entering naked positioned on a single pair OR do you do this by entering with additional baskets weighted toward to direction of the profit making trade (following the trend), eg. 2 sell / 1 long.

+ You enter a trade when the net position of the basket is 0 -- I understand that -- is there an EA to enter the three pair trade?

later ill do a video but first tHe main focus the three eurusd the gbpusd and the eurusd , always cofirm with the hedge offline chart AND CORE

this is the central point of driving the currencys ,
the engine of the dashboard

when zero is hit on this watch both offline charts the hedge and the core move in synce over time

when all three of the eurusd gbpusd and eurgbp are all in profit it is usualy maxium profit for the three

zero indicates a possible trend change of all currencys

confirm with +3 or -3 with the offline chart for new trend direction

when all 3 are in synce its an indication of max profit

the idea of three is liquidate all 3 when bottom line is profit

ok simple concepts are the hardest to understand


now once you understand where your focus is

the three

we start to understand how important these 3 are to the whole

the movement of the 14 over time

the fridays close is important the bosuns line price returns
many time during the week to this point usualy in normal markets

so i think if you focus on the three first as the engine of your dashboard the basic concept you will learn the most important lesson of your dashboards driving engine in my opinion

this thread is for advanced multicurrency traders beginners should go to my other thread first on 3mw and read

the hedge basket is for traders that know the basics of multicurency trading one has to know the basics first of trading as this hedge dashboard is an extension of 101s basket trading system

so unless you understand the basics this is not for you

the hedge dash board is to be used with charts and basic trading systems its a focus list based on my whatif excell sheet

the pre requist for using this system is made for multicurency strategys
and for traders as a focus list to go to there charts and trade
using whaterver system they like

there is no right or wrong way to trade

my sujestion is for beginners read through my 3m w thread
and 101s basket system first if you are lost or dont understand
as this is realy only for

advanced traders multi-currency strategies

Lucky me stumbled on this thread
congrats to the dashboard indicator,
it looks really interesting,
I just downloaded version 3 and put it in my indicators folder.
is there anything more I need to do?

I think if it's blank that you need to make sure the dashboard indicator can access dll's, check the properties on the indicator.

Once it is in your indicator folder and MT4 is restarted, you just need to drop it on a blank chart window and set the parameters (defaults should be fine).

Do you have all your symbols visible in the market watch window? That may stop it.

Attached a blank template, apply this to the chart first and then drop the hedge dashboard indicator on it.

Check for any error messages in the experts/journal tab.

That would be required since it accesses your windows dlls to determine time zone info for GMT calculations.

Ive been practicing in Game Mode for the past 3 months and am rather pleased with the result. A few blown accounts but but at least I am learning. To the point even of venturing with a small account in September.

I have been watching this thread over time and would like to start dipping my toe into the knowledge imparted in this thread.

I have 1 simple question for the moment: Does the v.3 indicator also require a download of the excell files to work properly?

I'm also having issues loading this ea on any chart.
I started with a new profile
Added EURUSD
Applied the blank.tpl from above
I had already downloaded v3 and went in and compiled it.
Saved profile
Turned of mt4 and restarted
I then dragged the ea < see next post I get it's an indi> onto the chart and its still blank. When you right click expert advisor on the chart it is all grayed out.

Again, I have written ea's in the past so this isn't a newbie mistake. I modify ea's all the time and place them back on charts. Sorry just confused on this one. Any help would be great.

Also - Brijon could you keep the current up to date files in post 1? That could make it easier for everyone. Thanks in advance...

Um - yes I get it's an indicator not an EA now. My mid is other places but the only thing I see now is upper left hedge_dashboard_v3, local GMT etc...

Any suggestions?

zero divide is the error I see in the journal.

Try with another broker .. that's happen to me with FXDD. Try MB trading demo account.

it runs on these brkers perfect

axle trading , alpari, 4finfx i cant run it on my ibfx but this is not a problem AS I RUN MY EXCELL FILES WITH THIS BRKER

i think one should investigate other brkers if you are having problems

and i think if members post there brker that this hedge indicater works on it should help others
