Dear Friends,
I would like to know, which platforms do you preffer, and possibly with reasons, I want to chose on which platform to trade.
I used MetaTrader, it's not bad actualy... I did't like the internet based platforms, they don't seem secure, but I would love to know your oppinion!

Thanks!

Hi Ki6ania,

Metatrader is the best free platform out there. there are some better platforms thann metatrader but then they have monthly charges. metatrader has got almost all of the technical indicators and one can also program auto trading experts. metatrader's programming is not hard to understand. i think you should stick with it.

You can also check out vt trader platform. Think they are avail via http://www.cmsforex.com.

Pretty easy to learn their programming system too, and they have an api extension if you want to program in vbscript and some other languages.

I go back and forth between mt and vt, seems like mt via interbank is pretty stable too.

good luck
Ah.

Hi Ki6ania,

the best paid platform IMHO is tradestation. it has a monthly fee. but you can have it for free if you are an active trader. check their site www.tradestation.com.

My vote goes to:

Currenex for trading (if you can meet the volume requirements). Single click trading. True ECN. Tight spreads.

Metatrader or Tradestation for charting (and flexibility to write your own code etc.)

Hi ki6ania,

I would go with MT4, simple to use, good user interface, practically no bugs (obviusly) and very stable.
Pips...? I love them!
