Thanks for warning the community. They were one of the brokers on my list but I can cross them out now...

I think you're doing the right thing in challenging them with the market regulators.

Best of luck and keep us posted!

I was about to open an account with them but I have heard so many red flags now that I am going to look elsewhere.

I have been a client of Alpari for many years and have never experienced a problem with them- ever! Their spreads are great, their customers services are super efficient and their trading terms are fair. Withdrawals have always been processed on request and in timely maner Regarding the OP I am stunned that Lorbax can make such claims.

I think Lorbax needs a major reality check before such claims and postings are made. Alpari should have right to take money back if they have sensed unfair play and trading on bad prices is unfair.

Everyone needs to calm down a little! If prices was bad and you made losses, u would defo complain and right you would b.

It is easy bag brokers in such situations.....I don't think fink Alpari are being unfair! Calm down!

Read YOUR COMPANY's contract before say bull$hit !!!

This is purely FALSE, here is your terms of business:

8.14. Complaints in respect of a Transaction or Order execution based on the difference in the prices for the Contract for Difference in the Trading Platform and for the underlying asset of the Contract for Difference are not accepted.

This, in English, means that I wouldn't be able to claim to be refunded for a loss made on a "wrong" prince!! So, what the f$$k are you talking about ??

Last but not least, I suggest your company to buy some English Dictionaries for the employees .... you can use my money for that !

Hello, paid poster

best evidence how unfair Alpari UK plays is the fact they feed DEMO with data from Pro acc. (ECN?) to make demos looking good regards the performance. Once the trader runs a micro o classic live account things changing dramatically for them: he get cheated on EVERY entry and exit by 1-2 pips slippage, requotes, trade context messages and server switch offs here and there.
That's all unfair practice and I'm convinced the supervising authority body is watching these scam bags already. If Alpari keeps going this bad way they will disappear from the market sooner or later, bc there are more and more fair competitors out there.
I've been a client for many years as well, I left for the above mentioned reasons. My money went to Australia, the best trading environment ever. Strong regulation and supervising rules there.

Well done, I am moving to the same location (trading-wise).

I honestly think that I would also post a positive comment if this story ends in the way I like .... anyway I stopped trading with them and many of my colleagues are too .... guess why!

I work in a privatly-managed trading room, all trades are on their own, we have about 20 accounts with Alpari .... they are now stopping trading.

Hello guys,
I use Alpari UK with 2 accounts one is a Classic personal account the other is a Micro account.
I know this is a total different issue, but I want your reactions and experiences with when funding your account.
What happened to me, and probably to other clients as well, when funding your account Alpari UK puts the transferred amount onto your balance MINUS £6. They say that are the costs that the bank charges and they deduct this from your balance.
So when paying by bank wire lets say 500€ into my € account the balance shows something like #deposit 491€. (it is 500€ - £6 = +/- 491€)

I’m looking for EU clients from Alpari UK who had the same problem. Why do I ask you people this?
First of all the bank makes no charges for a bank wire, Alpari UK says they do but it is not.
So for every funding transaction Alpari UK takes a cut of £6. And lying to you that it is not them who that money but the bank.

So please if any members here had this happen to them when funding the account let me know. I filed a formal complaint and guess what happened they did NOT take the £6 off this time. But in the past they did, so this is a serious request please come forward if it has happened to you to as well. So then we can take action.

Tnx.
Serge.

ahah dutch people complaining that "alle dingen zijn te duur"
you're right thought, they take advantage of these things untill you complain, if you don't complain it's your problem.

Even if your post is interesting, I would suggest you to open a new thread, or to post it on the general thread about Alpari.
Here, your comment is a bit off-topic. sorry.

Are you really whinging about a 6 quid bank fee being charged to your account? Why should a broker pay the bank fees? If you buy something from a shop overseas you would pay the card fees, not the shop you are buying from.

Loathe them or love them, brokers are not a charity and without a broker you wouldn't be trading and would have to fill your time masturbating over world of warcraft.

Your topic is bullshit. You want a broker to always honour the price if it is in your favour, but if they give you a wrong price which causes you a loss you want it cancelled. That is a joke.

If there is a price feed error it should be corrected whether it causes you a profit or a loss. You can't have it both ways.

watch your words dude!

Your arrogance probably didn't allow you to read all the story!!!

They are cancelling me 95% of my trades just because they think the prices were wrong.... 361 TRADES OUT OF 375 !!!!!!
I am not complaining that they don't want to cancel losing trades, it's the opposite!!!!

What the hell are you talking about ???

Yes I am because there is NO fee from the bank. Alpari says there is a fee and deducts it.
That's lying and taking money from you under false pretences. It’s stealing! The bank does NOT charges a fee. It’s a matter of principle that you be honest towards your customers, in this case there are telling you a lie.
But this is here my final post and will open a new topic.
And I’m not Dutch LOL

When I transfer funds, my bank charges me on my end for their transfer.
Why Should I be charged on the receiving end also? That's BS.

If a price is posted and someone trades on it, that should be the law, good or bad. Why should the customer suffer if the broker gave the "wrong" quotes?

As you see I am not Dutch LOL.
Been reading your comments, sorry that I invaded your thread.... on the other hand looking at the answers you give you are a very sad personality and very dominant...
Goodluck with Alpari on your prices and cancelled orders. Read your contract/agreement and also mentioned on the daily statements. You only have 24 hours time to complain if something is incorrect.
Very nice this thread but you can't do a single thing against them.
You have to print out every order/transaction on metatrader and when your daily statement arrives you have 24 hours to file a complaint. First at the back office if not satisfied with the Financial Ombudsman who will investigate if you have proven to him that you bought at that price and filled a complaint to the back office within 24 hours. If not...TOO BAD then too much time has past and you can't claim a thing. It is in their conditions.

But seems you having a tunnel vision on this, nothing else matters and you forget the playing rules of the game. Your 24 hour period to complain.
You said in one post "This is only the beginning of our "marketing campain" I can swear it!" You can't do a thing, instead Alpari could file a law suit against you. You did not repond properly to Alpari regarding the mistakes. So it is your own ignorance that is making you crazy. Relax man. You did not play by the book and that's it.
And Steph you shut him also up. Telling him he should by an English dictionary!! Have you seen how many spelling mistakes you made?
Your reply to my post. You start a sentence without capital, the word "Dutch" is always with a capital, that's 3 mistakes in the first sentence.

Buy a mirror and try to be happy, nobody is perfect.
Respect people as they are and leave them in dignity!!!

As for Alpari services, they are very friendly on the phone and are correct. So I don't see your problem. The requote if you have a >30 milliseconds latency you will have requotes, because when you get your tick data in and your EA has to process this and respond there maybe 60 milliseconds processing times lost on your site and then you still have to transmit it back. By then there is usually a new tick.
ps: I don't have an Oxford dictionary, so if I made a spelling mistake, I'm verry sorry but I'm human. And English is not my mothertong.
