To be honest I do not know. But I do know, that it is not because Volume Spread Analysis has proven to not be a viable way of approaching the markets.

I do have a few ideas:

1. Malc has not posted recently. Many people were ultimately looking for market calls and that is what he provided.

2. Pres does not make market calls.

3. HiddeGap does not predict markets, he responds to them. So he does not make market calls.

4. Gavin wrote a book that over simplifies VSA into a few sequences....

Here's my trigger line to watch for today.
It's interesting to see the line's confluenced with yesterday HLC news bar.

Bunch of news today, and many EU herds are bearish bias right now.
Forex dealers will surely take advantage of this.

For me i'd wait for test in support area to see SOS, preferably 1.4408, the low of trendline and first support line.

* Climatic action on 1 hr chart( where it all starts .. ) ..on EurJpy ..
* Hopefully , next bar closes down ( indicating supply )
* Lets take a look at the 4 hr chart for a Bigger Picture ..
* Now , there's demand right under the Climatic Upbars ..
* so , that begs the question - Are they trying to remove the demand(@white line ) ? ..

youre right that is a nd bar and shows weakness, however it holds little weight because the trend is up. I ended up closing the trade a few bars after on the close of the first ut.
Its amazing how well trend channels are respected, I drew that channel yesturday on the ns before the big shakeout. now it appears that we have reached the top of the channel on nd so i am expecting the market to retrace a little. I will be looking to buy i the grey area....

I thought it had little weight , but it does happen, that a ND is follwed by a NS (or a NS by a ND) and I tend to close too early, as I belive it weakens the entery setup.

Anyway, Good trade, and I hope you banked some pips today as the level you marked was visited to the pip !
I managed to get some pips but I cant show the entry as it is not a VSA

Okay , Got my entry ...

* Hidden upthrust - Hopefully caps the Market
* No demand with next bar closing down ( IMO - aggressive entry )
* Not quite a narrow upbar because more selling came in that bar and next bar closes down (no BP ) ...

Target @ same demand line , where it started .. (To be tested again..)

Jeez , how do you trade and post at the same time..

Alright , either I succeed or am food for the gods ..Either way , don't be afraid to show your arse folks . There are no billionaires on FF , so who gives a F**.. lol - Here's hoping the thread lives on ..

A better no demand is coming up on 1 hr TF .....( one of next 2 bars must close down )

yesterday on 15/5 minutes chart after stoping vol at 8:45 chicago time into a previous strong trigger area the gbp/usd started too go up but whitout testing...in fact we had a small test at 9:15 on 5 min but we were into a small supply area and because we had a upthrust 2 bars before i didn't find reliable the test and waited for one after the price went above the upthrust but the market it continued the up move...what do you think about this type of upmoves whitout testing?

trendline's still intact.
got one nice test on my S/R line.

Strong cluster at 4550 area.
Wait for another test on support line.

no i did not, because there was no setup for me. there was a setup but it is not something i would take so I decided to go to sleep. Notice the bar right after the effort to rise (ETR) is a down bar with volume significantly increased, however the spread is narrowed and it closes in the middle of the previous bar. The next bar is the same volume up bar closing on the high with a wider spread. This is a clear indication that demand is overcoming supply.
There was a good entry that i missed a few hours ago on the high of the test. not only was it testing the bottom of the major channel, it was also testing the top of the minor channel down that it had just penetrated.

First off all thanks to malcolm to make this thread and make it so well, what would be of my self if I didnt read this thread.... Well probably still playing with Stochastics... LoL

I want to invite again if anyone didnt read the previous post about the "Live Trading group" on skype that is going on.

I must say I didnt expected to take that much from the experience.

If you are interested but are a begginner, first take some time 30-50 hours learning VSA.

Eur 4550 sell off on no demand, found buyer at 4444 with stopping volume.
Notice the double reference on the MP supporting support confluence.
Once again, vsa sucks terribly.

Hopefully those who pay attention lost a lot of money today.

Hi all on this excellent thread "hope it does stay alive" at present on page 43, so I have a long way to go... I have taken 2 week out of work to complete this mission as I have already seen the Tom Williams videos x2 and was impressed, also I am reading his ebook so multi tasking..I have been trading for over 2 years so have some idea and will not ask dumb questions. I will be posting charts for criticism.

there was a beautiful entry on market open on the test, but i decided not to take it because I don't trade just after the market opens. will buy on a ns or a test of the level that i have labeled.
I don't see any serious signs of weakness other then that 2 bar reversal, however notice how fast that selling was absorbed and shaken out.
if it breaks the low of that last SO I will be expecting a retest of the area where the 2 previous tests are. However right now the volume is low and the bottom of the channel is acting as resistance, it will take effort to push through.
