Reaching historic monthly support level. This could very well result in a bounce. Waiting on hourly for a continuation pullback or potential signs of reversal.

I am expecting 1.42 to be tested again, and potentially exit all shorts, given the daily has printed with strength and seeming volume absorption of sellers. (not completely sure of this level though) SM doesn't like to dip down too far, precisely so that any remaining shorts cannot get out, but a 1.419-1.421...

This market seems to be very bullish at the moment IMHO. There have been 2x effort to go up areas, close to each other. The market is in a hurry to go up, they seldom come back to the level you are talking about while in this phase. Look to the back ground..previous high volume stopping area, now a lower volume stopping volume accumulation area. ie..ripe for a bullish phase..Market is resting...looking for a shake out tomorrow..lets see..

Um, I'm not locked into any shorts. That chart and post is from last Thursday. Where I expected 1.42 to be tested, we got down to 1.412, 1.41 (twice) and I am out of all shorts, including the ones from 1.44 which paid in the hundreds of pips.

Market sentiment was quite different last week (negative) and we are back into optimism/solutions available mode as of today. I do agree momentum and strength is to the upside. That strength was quite well demonstrated in pushing through supply this NY morning. But we're still in fundamental waters, and I expect some big swings in the next 48hrs based on rumours and/or EU/Greece/ratings news.

I don't practice 'hoping for a reprieve': it's a terrible business and trading plan.

EU 5 min..today was the equivalent of the traders "bad hair" day for me.
I can't believe how I fumbled my entries. Traded 120 pips gross, and stopped out 110 pips. Got in on all the good runs...stopped out too many times setting up..Comments please...need to adjust my stop entries.

My platform is showing 1,4367 for today's Vpoc. Can anyone confirm that?

P.S. Still rusty, but hoping to make small and relevant contributions on this forum as I continue to grasp the VSA Way.

took a long on eu on the ns bar. there was some weakness on the high volume up bar, however the high volume was expected because price just cleared a resistance area. what is important to note is that the supply did not have a negative impact. The market just drifted for some time, and was tested right after. also note the absorption happening on the 2 bars before the bar labeled ns

i am trading M15 and above, my setup occurs only on average once a week or once in 2 weeks, still working on it to find out if there are other possible high chance entries...

Hi Guys,

I have just taken trade on GU. I would like to know your opinion (especially experienced trades ) about my simple analysis. I wonder if you see cable strenght building up lately as well.

I was hesitating before I took this trade. I thought that it would be safer to wait when price breaks up through 1.6040 (two previous highs) but when I saw beautiful test into previous day trigger on 30 min chart I have decided to play long earlier. Do you think it was good place to play long?

EDIT: I have managed to get out of the position with small profit. From technical point of view it was better to wait for price to go through
1.6040 and test this level. A lot of sellers were sitting there. Shame on me that I forgot about voting in Greece

Hi apple, nice trade ! I was also looking for a buy entry buy had to go to bed ,so missed it...

I wanted to ask where did you but the buy order (at the high of this bar ? )
And also, what do you think about the bar after the ns ?? a very small up bar with even lower volume ?

It pains me to say this, but this thread is dying. However, that is not why you have not gotten any responses. I do not believe there are any templates out there. All you need is volume and candles or bars. Both of which are standard in MT4.

Many here are using one version of Better Volume or another and some are using an EA that creates HLC bars. Both can be found by reading the thread or using the search function.
Without VSA, you're playing checkers while the Smart Money plays chess.
