Monroe, you reckon the reserve bids still exist up at 1.4440? Kinda short on margin so I'm having to select a few choice plays at the moment..

here was last weeks order boards...

"more buy stops 1.4500 with offers once again nestled in front of them, once again closely tied (1.4510) A slew of reserve manager offers 1.4550 thru 1.4700 buy stops above."

I would think they would still be there... but I cant' say for sure. I don't know about 4440... they say there are Asian players, model funds, and a rumored eastern european (russian name) selling up here in the 44's though...

Hmmm..was thinking of doing a nice little short term scalp on EUR/USD..but if they're all the way up at 1.4550..hmm..not so much Thanks for the heads-up!

lol I got the top on the double top 2 hours ago (filled at 4409) and it went nice (only took half a position) then it started to turn and busted me out at BE... I should have got out with some profit but screw it... I was aiming for the stops under the asia low...

That's what I was attempting to do, but I thought there were some orders up at 1.4440..Someone's playing games on EUR/CHF..hope they don't trip 1.2020...Tis an essential component of my plan.

just read this...

After a very brief pullback EUR/CHF is bought up again. 1.1945/50 bidders have helped push the cross to fresh session highs at 1.1995 (1.1991 was tested earlier in Europe). There remains offers noted into 1.2000 with large stops touted above at 1.2020. Also there are good size 1.2000 and 1.2025 EUR/CHF strikes for the NY cut today which could also lend support to price into North American trade

Real STP brokers take the Dealing Desk model employed by most of world's largest Forex firms and stand it on its head. How? The former always operates under the premise that the interests of both the client and the broker are aligned. The STP broker wants it's traders to, in the words of Spock, "Live long and prosper". This highlights my earlier point of why having interests that align is sensible to traders and non-traders alike.

Market Order is an order that lets you fill your order the fastest way. You can always expect your order to be filled, however this might not be at the best price you want. During volatile times the gap between the price you see when you enter the order and the price you get your order filled at may be wide, but when the market is fast moving this might be the only option in order to fill your position before the market moves further away.
