LOL when EUR/USD popped 1.4350 earlier today, that's what I said! How do you think EUR/CHF will react to it? I wanted to get a long on it but it went to BE so fast I thought I didn't even place the trade..thing is heavy. So heavy..makes me very curious as to how she'll respond.

I was thinking more about CHF, as I posted that report from IFR last week, this makes going short now a little sketchy, also what Jamie from fxlive was saying that might happen if they can is successfully kick the can down the road and we get a good risk-on rally... eur/chf long might be quite profitable...

though we have some problems brought to my attention with Italy waiting in the background and Portugal so I don't know.

It really does look like it's going to pop up though...

Hmmm...I just might use it to play the vote; if anything until the week's close.It's actually looking much tamer now than it did earlier on today..it will have to pay for BE'ing my long like that today. That wasn't nice.

Good thinking... at least you got the break even in. Seems a scary one to mess with a long on, but I'm going to keep my eye on it for the vote as well, it seems like the best choice on the euro crosses for it, eur/chf or eur/jpy...

Some reason for market bidding e/u despite of uncertainty is about Bernanke negative statement about US recovery phase, also there is rumor from reuters that EU discussing plan B for greece even when they do not pass the vote, others may still have hope about ECB will hike rate. But yes, the vote had more light on public, whenever they come out deadlock market will react strong enough, may be challenging 4050 again, that's one kind of scenario

kickass... do you still use the guppy's for old time sake? very nice read.. I can see why you deleted that at the time.

I bet there had to be some of those guys that saved it who were around back then also.

I have run into a few who made copies. Not many though.

And no.. I scrapped the guppy stuff back in early 07 I believe. Became just a distraction after awhile.
