im just following the hard rules set in place, all what you say is true, but it has touched out just crossed outside the top tma, and as long as it is not past middle tma downwards when rf signals its all good for me, if it was crossed the middle tma line already when rf signalled i would have not taken it, currently im up 4.4 pips, fingers crossed

John, would you mind posting a larger screenshot or post the settings for both the Ultra Stochs you've overlayed in your bottom window? Cant quite make out the setting for the second stoch in the chart.

So is it more reliable to use the Ultra stoch compared with say the Kevinator one that repaints? Does your version take care of the repainting issue?

2nd settings are the standard ones for the 4hr in this method

ie. 10,3,3,LWMA,Close/Close

Ultra Stoch has NO repainting (except of course for the current open 5m bar) - therefore is far more accurate and gives you a true indication of what the 4hr stoch has been doing during each 4hr period.

Only 1 trade for me this morning.I didn't have the h1 or h4 in my favor the h4 was green at the time but reason for the short was how far price was out of the TMA lines. It was also hitting a supply zone as well so was comfortable with the trade. Would have posted this morning but took this 1 minute before walking out the door for work.

JMW could you possibly make the TMA true have the distance pips in it. I like the looks of it better as no repaint and really like the distance pips very nice feature.Thanks

Does anybody experience problems with stochastic changing its mind? I'm giving this system a try in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not trying to derail the system with my personal efforts to eliminate false signals thus this is a quick screen shot showing QQE confirming the short term movement as this seems to not repaint so far. I still need some more screen time to confirm though.

It could have double indicator? Th.

I am afraid the author of this thread does not approbate any changes to the system and since he's the manager up here I would like not to upload anything that is not specified to the rules.

I can only tell you, that this is a regular QQE MTF (you can find on google easily) with cross alert turned on (the dots) set on M15 with smoothing varying from 3 up to 30 depending on market volatility. It is not a fixed settings because there are times you need a quicker entry signal confirmation as the market consolidates. It is up to you how you will adjust the smoothing and the time frame. H1 and M15 on M5 looked good so far. I need a couple of weeks to be able to say that this approach works though.

good system so far.

11 trades total today, all MOM trades.

10/11 are losses, down about $400 real. great system.

I'll keep going but at this rate I'll blow up my account in a week.

3 trades, 3 winners for me since Frankie open. I have not posted as I am trying to tweak entries, just took small profits. I'm considering going back to old retracement finder as the Double Stoch alert seems to give very late entries.

To post above, I would suggest you review rules for MOM trades.

You are trading in a ranging market - Monday
Although (by the book) they are MOM's you still need atrend for an MOM to work

Thats the key to success , spotting the trend early
You can do the scalping trades on the bounce nbut I personally dont have the patience to watch bounces all day

Is it important to have the TMA sloped up/down and not sideways?
Also, I'm only using the 240 stoch but i'm find repainting to be a problem with this indicator.

Backtesting cant be trusted with this system.

Go to be honest and saythat most of the systems give the same signals in a different sort of way ,
Becuase of this I use the indies like retracement and tma in conjunction with other ones like Lawgirl trendfinder, TMS, QQE, stochs all helping to spot the trend
Yes the angle of the TMA helps on the immediate trend
I try to spot the hot pair (trending pair) and use that for my trades so if I do dodgy trades Ive got a "get out of jail free" card hopefully

hot at the mom is USDCHF but obviousy trends can end (especially on the 5m)
EU trend up will turn either in the NY session or tomorrow
