ichimoku-clouds Breakout

When every thing line is it great trade-

1- cloud cross to down side (read)
2-3 candle under the aligator and lin filter
4- candle close under the cloud
5-7 chin c and d below -15
6 bb under -15
8 EW - below -0.001

What time was the entry? I can see the Sell# line on the chart, just wanted to figure out where along the time axis was the actual entry. Thanks. Right now is 1:46amEST New York time.

My chart is not time based -- it is 15 pips range bar see the chart -- the 1st candle close below the cloud -- that was the entry

Few good signal today

Euro support lines 14124 14067 14009 13970 --

Nice sell entry from 14370 area

GU support 15933 nice sell from 16165

Analysis was dead on the support -- EU boune off 14124 and GU 15935

All about lining up -- will give most time 90 % good signals

You dont have to trade all day -- timing is important -- when the time is right go for it -- will not win all but most of it -- wait for the line up

can anyone point me to Chin-C / D indicators?
I could not find it in this thread.

I was complimenting the guy who post this indicator - I said it helps to make profitable trades-- then he give me negative comments-- what is the purpose of my charts-- like his chart is the best in the world and only he is making money -- so got many following him -- that is great if he make money and we all make money-- but to feel that he is only guy on the block -- is ego problem

I've read all the pages in the thread and was sorry to see how complex the entries had become.

Who I am - I trade Ichi very traditionally using all lines and indcators on 3-minute charts of US futures. Been trading for 25 years and have absorbed something in that time.

When trading on the 3-minute, I use the 5-minute cloud to set my trend. (If price is above the cloud on the 5-min, I will only trade longs on the 3-min.)

About your system:

When you posted the original, you were using only Kumo - cloud - breakouts. The potential for profit was immediately obvious. But, there was only one thing missing, a way to take profits.

There were lots of questions about that.

Here's a solution: AND a way to get back to "simple" again.

Put a CCI(14) on the original simple chart.

Watch what happens when the CCI gets overbought and oversold. Note what it's doing when price turns. Watch what happens to price as the indicator comes back into "normal" range.

In the course of a long trade, keep moving a stop to below the bottom of the previous bar.

If you've got the CCI on the chart, you'll see that it will get overbought in a long trade and will continue to rise with price until the CCI begins to turn even as price continues to advance... just as the CCI is ready to break to the downside (below 100), you'll get a sell on the takeout of the previous low candle.

I don't suggest trading this without watching. Just put the CCI on your chart and see what it does as it gets overbought over 100 and oversold under -100.

NOTE THAT CCI IS A LEADING INDICTOR - it is measuring the change in the velocity of price. As each bar begins to close at decreasing distance from prior close, the CCI slows down.

I hope even one Ichi trader looks at the indicator with the original Cloud-breakout system Z has given us. It really is all you need to mine the setup for profits.

Having a problem with setting up a chart with the nova free download range bars. If Zamanib or anyone else knows what is going on per my description I would appreciate it.

1. I have a normal 1M chart with the tpl loaded.
2. I then load the range bar script onto that chart.
3. Then I go file/open offline/symbol M2.

4. A rangebar chart comes up.
5. I try to load one of Zamanibs TPLS on top of that. They load on the chart, indicators are in the indicator list, but the ichi cloud and matrix don't show up visually. On the range bar chart?

What Am I doing wrong???

I'm trading futures on the the Ichi 5-minute exactly as I understand all the rultes:

For Long:

Price has to be above the cloud
Tenkan is crossing Kijun
Chikou is above where it last crossed price to the upside
Price is above Kijun

IF I followed the rules, the TK cross would have happend above the cloud...

What I add:

I look at the 15-minute to set the trend. If price is above the cloud, I will trade long on the 5-minute.

To catch a trend:

If I think the chart is set up for a longer trend, I change the stop from the last-bar-low to a cross of the Kijun line which is still far below price.

As price gets extended, I'll move the stop up to below the Tenkan.

Of course, I have multiple contracts on and will be taking them off one at a time as price rises.

If you look at Zamanib's original tick charts, you can see how nicely price trends in the short time frame.

The exit:

I sell a long the first time price ticks below the low of the previous bar.

Not looking to catch long, long trends, just using Ichi to signal the possibility of a long move and then staying with the move until it weakens.

As I said elsewhere, I always have a CCI(14) on my charts. I often confirm Ichi entry for a long with the CCI price moving above +100.

The CCI really talks to me.

If you watch what happens to price when the CCI moves above 100, you'll see each bar paint higher but as the CCI curves back down, price increase is becoming less... until just at the moment CCI crosses back below +100, price is also taking out the low of the previous bar.

CCI is a leading indicator.

It is measuring the change in the velocity of price movement.

It's not measuring the difference from the previous bar, but the difference of the change in momentum from the previous bar. I can see it but can't really describe it.
