Does anyone have experience with ACM since the purchase of the broker by Swissquote Bank?

I was with them from early 2008-early 2009. They were behaving like a scam-bucketshop. Software would pause at critical points prohibiting you from taking quick profit and would start functioning again when your position was in red. Random spikes to take your SL out (spikes that didn't exist in other brokers). The only thing that didn't feel scam-like was the support which was responsive (although they would never reply with detail to hot questions). I didn't know about raiding their offices but it served them right if it did happen.

Thanks for the info. My interest in ACM is based on the outcome of the case against them by MXBK (not guilty), the resignation/firing of two of the three founders/owners, and the purchase of ACM by SwissQuote Bank in October. I thought that someone might have tried the company since then and that maybe things have changed with new ownership, oversight by FINMA, etc.

I've been using their trial version for a while and have been pleasantly surprised.
I'm also interested in some feedback from anyone who's been with them with a proper account since the Swiss Quote take-over.

i have live accounts with both ACM and Swissquote since 08. Way before they merged. Have both a savings and trading account with Swissquote but never traded Fx, as their platform is very weak I personally like ACM and have made good money with them. They will work with you and their platform is really good. They gave me a permanent demo account because i prefer the charting on the demo account. I can run both accounts and charts simultaneously. Hedging is good and scalping is great.

Guess i don't know any better))))))) They were recommended to me and i have never used anyone else. I have been a full time trader now for a few years and i make money on their platform..............so i can not complain. They have been very helpful to me and on occassion have corrected errors in my trading when i first started. Besides they sponsor a ferrari)))))))))))) Forza ferrari!!!!!!!!! I am a ferrari fan))))

Well, it is up to you. But their trading conditions are only good for traders with deep pockets. Even for standard account spreads are too high

You maybe right. But i did not think the spreads were that far off. I generally trade the majors and my spread is around 1.8. I did look at Dukscopy, but after commissions, it seemed about the same to me. But you can get similar spreads with ACM. I really not on top of other brokers. I just replied to this thread because i was familiar with ACM and Swissquote

Actually one of the reasons i started trading with acm was because they were the only ones that had a platform for my mac at the time i started. Maybe there were others. I just didn't find one.

Well, yeah, considering commission it would be the same. Some traders do not consider it, and just focus on spread size...

I Experienced the same problems you described.. I estimate I lost around 300€ with this broker.. any time I have asked for an explanation I have never received one....

Did you have the problems before or after Swissquote bank took Acm over.

I have been looking at Dukascopy and using FFT Mt4 bridge , but the fees and comms look like it will add 1.5 pips to their spreads.

If Acm and Swissquotes are a fair broker than I think they would work out a better option.

Is anyone actually trading live with them at the moment ?
