GJ was impossible to trade this morning...computers setup @ crazy levels..stupid swings ..I never was able to enter..it's Friday too

Whilst GJ may have looked confusing, it was just busy drawing a picture. An ending diagonal triangle. Put simply, the end is nigh.

trying to trade gj this last month or so is a mugs game - lets say gj makes a move north thats the signal but not the trigger thats the time to wait and see where it retraces to the best rewards are the pairs that are trending gj isnt so when it does make a move there is plenty of time to enter some traders point this out all the time but it never seems to sink in anywho i hope you lot have a restful weekend

A confirmed break of the upper TL would be a signal to long, considering that a tl break would also, in this case, be a break of the 15m 50ema, which is also one of my confirmations to enter. I concur that, to play ultra safe, it can be advisable to let the pair first show its hand and then enter on a retrace. However to give confidence, I always prefer to find the markers that are indicating a trend change, which seems to be happening here.

example i posted last night the gate way was 1.4403 and really its not that extreme if your dealing with large sums frankie done its fake and the rest is history the point is you dont have to pick the bottom to make money

GU appears to have moved back above its long term trendline, indeed back into what I have long called a bull flag channel (of sorts). As I said on this forum some days ago, I am thinking that this channel will help lift GJ up and into the 132 area as a first target. Divergence showing on daily and stochastic is turning up.

While I watch it, I never trade GU, mainly because, while it tends to follow trendlines (and then annoyingly breaks in and out), I never "get it" and the USD component certainly doesn't help.

GJ, on the other hand, tends to observe its TLs reasonably well and I find its waves and wave patterns a lot easier to identify.




UJ on the 4 hr has reached the 76 fib retracement level, the 1hr and 4 hr stoch is showing well oversold and the 1hr/4hr UJ yen strength is showing a retracement coming soon. Daily, can't tell, but it looks down still to me/can't tell.

i don't see the sign of topping. looks for far it will be a pull back or consolidate and take out the res next week. i'll be away next week, but so far it looks like there will be another buying opportunity.

nice analysis mpt if we look at the weekly and really just look at the s/r levels we will still come to the same conclusion in other words you answered the question really there isnt a trade on gj atm swing trading anyways what i see is further downside on uj and cable indecision
79.79 is the target on uj and two points on cable 1.67433 and 1.60630 see the vol coming in at resistance says a lot to me but i personally gave up on gj when the last bull flag failed and until it shows its hand ( i'll leave the bottom picking to others ) so if we see an up move of say 500pips ill wait for the retrace and see where it stops but at least i know its taken certain levels out and im on the right side of the market ( hopefully ) even though gj used to be my baby it is no longer and eu is my preferred pair at this time

GY just confusing to some of you but sorry to say, not to me. You guys confuse as its has 2 level/pattern to be develop sooon but if you look at daily and above TF you may see something. This is what i am doing my own research back to last 3 years and came out with my own formula on how to handle it ( sorry cant share).

GY quite simple as it has 2 level to observe actually. Friday movement is expected to be mess as its FRIDAY. Happen not only GY but most of the pair and nothing weird i think.

EU n EY is the damm bloody great pair this week to me but i am not sure other people (a few people know my position on this pair and be honest its not small lot, quite big)....GY? i just play around with her before she going to be 'high' and easy to me to F***ing around

So, my point for next week onward :-

1. Monday-Tuesday we may seen the attempting to test 131 where if its not, 128-127.50 or maybe little bit lower to 126.90/127 is there (this is what i posted before in my Vote A)

2. If Tuesday able to close above 131 then it may no more down where 133 at least untill Tuesday London close-wednesday Asian session.

3. Wednesday-Ahah this is the day that i am going to see what happen either 200pips up or 200pips down. Either from 133 or 131. This is what i am looking at this day from Asian to london open..


Why?

a) Look at your monthly bar=hanging man? what is that? medium reveral right and not strong reversal?

b) weekly =Inverted hammer? so strong or medium reversal?
c) Daily = 3 down bar?

summary : monthly=daily but not same with weekly= still ranging where intraday is the best option to play with 100-150-200pips daily range pip target. Any daily going to confirm with weekly where we may seen the confirmation of the trend at this month close. Just left ~ 1week for monthly close, look like its almost there to happen...

Keep buying? I believe some people including my self keep telling and advice the same thing, not yet, patient etc bla n bla since last few week...n hope you guys understand that now....
