Yes, it seems you are not waiting for some specific time, am I correct ? As soon as you get a signal, you jump on it ?

Do you use this method for individual trade and use the basket at specific time ?

The way I have been doing it is when it removes trades and they stay gone for a couple of minutes, if they are losing I close them and don't re-open them because I hate paying the spread multiple times.

If some new trades are added to the list,...
Each time I see a suggestion, I trade that pair. If after 1 s the suggestion has gone, I donīt close the trade, sometimes itīs better, sometimes not, but I do always the same. Each new suggestion, I take the trade.

This question of current = true/false got me thinking a bit.. I am wondering and have put up some short term , 2 of each 15 min / 1 hr instances of the histograms with identical settings except for the current= true/ false setting.. Just to check this out..

Tell me if I am mistaken but should not the two 1 hr histo's be giving identical readings at the exact hour update time? If all other settings are the same..

I know it might be a minor or irrelevant question just was curious..

If not I would like to know why not if anyone knows ..

fyi: I have appreciated this R/S concept from the beginning of your original thread ES, was that really almost 3 years ago?? Time flies...

This concept has staying power...

Well I do see that the answer to my question is no the histo's do not match up at the update time... ( my 15 min and 1 hr 's just rolled over with no match up.)

I would think they would but I am no coder or indie whiz so I am sure it is something I am not aware of that makes that so...

Absolutely agree, the main problem is to react quickly when the reversal comes, because it ALWAYS happens....

The higher the TF we trade, the later the reaction for a reversal, Iīm trying something with small TF, M5/M15, if I have good results I will share......

major reversal during US open. Should have stay out during news and the period between US open and Europe closes. Closed the basket with -250 pips. Opened up another one 2 hrs before Tokyo open and was on +150 pips due to weak yen. Once Tokyo opened, the basket hit the dust again...hmm...

I am having the same problem, down 75.

Plus, just went down 55 MORE in while I was typing this.

I have 9 trades on at the moment. Right now they are -120 pips and 8 of the 9 are negative. I just put in a 50 pip stop and a 50 pip profit target on each of them and I'll just keep them all until they get stopped out or until the basket gets over 100 pips positive.

I've never closed a basket that lost money overall, so I can't complain too much as I'm probably due for a loss.

I use Instraforex GMT+3. this method need to follow which GMT? is it GMT 00?
If GMT 00, any idea how do i can trade at GMT +3?
Any indicators that could help?

The market is very tense these last 2 days. (lots of oversold/overbought)

I am taking the BAR to compare with the MA. If they are displaying different results on the histo from the same TF, I consider this as a Divergence and am not trading.

Both BAR & MA need to agree. Will see if I can avoid false signals (at least, it gives me a logical explanation to these 2 settings)

maybe put 2 MTF side by side. one with bar one with MA. only trade if the suggestions appear on both MTFs....

Yes, absolutely correct !

As posted yesterday, by doing that, you will enter less trades and will not be able to have the same result as you had yesterday. On the other hand, it can avoid false signals which will be better for the long term - anyway, we need to find the best solution which matches all market conditions... we are going from surprise to surprise

Are you saying using BAR is faster than MA??

my qustion is how you select a pair means on which histogram??
like i am selecting on based on only H4 histogram, what about u??

Friends ...

It happens ... Dont filter the entries , try to catch the best exit ....

Yesterday market reversed after completed its daily range....I just covered 40 pips, but it went to 400pips.

So the problem is not in entry ...

Yes, absolutely. If both agree on their direction, it is quite sure the market is going that way and the result is 100 pips quickly :-)
