So you're not entering on a magenta bar only?
Ignored
The magenta bar is always the first up or down bar in the group so even when it wasn't changing colour I just took the first.

my humble take on this regard is.. to go with your own MM.. but it's wise to give the PA the minimum breathing room like 10-15 pips space or couple candles below/up for original SL.
overall do whats right for you and your game plan.

First post here.. read through the thread over the weekend and seemed like a good system to test out.
Two trades so far this morning and both winners. Attached is the eurcad trade just finished. I'm going by the original template.

here we go first trade of the week for me... not bad so far..
I could have easily taken +10.. but i like the setup so i intend to look for more and perhaps the break of the recent HH and see what it does there..
but the correct move was to take the sure +10/+15.. and move on to the next signal..

out for +22...

Personally, I took the down signal before it because it was outside the TMA bands, half way down is not as sure.

nice trade fratelli...

i took this setup too, at time that i took it it was stepping up and that's all it matters...
the way this indi works... during the first change of momentum from up to down or opposite it changes until the close of the hour for the final firm change.. so if you don't take it at direction show of that moment you will miss the early entry at the peak time... but to avoid this you may let go of the first hour of every change of momentum and take the signals in the second hours... and it can easily be done automatic for you with the new version of alert RF indi that dear Mediator fixed over the weekend... just got to change the shift to 1 from zero..
but I personally for now am going with zero shift and whatever steps show that the time of signal..

i hope it helps.

just a humble observation..

you guys notice the e/j trade.. now its faced with deep pullback and into negative zone if small given profit was not preserved...
this is a perfect reason why with this system Kevin insist on taking the money and moving on to the next setup... there is plenty of opportunities and no need to go for home runs, unless its straight shoot up/down move so you may get a bigger chunk or have the luxury to trail big.

cheers,

ps) I am talking too much I know... I go in my shell my apologies in advance.

Thanks for your reply.

But it actaully dont help me.

I see you use a diff. MTF stoch than I use.
and if you look at that long signal I did not took because my stoch was red when signal come.

but can you show me the settings you use on your MTF stoch,
I have added it to my chart, but cant figure out how your settings.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Would there be any reason that my "purple" bars appear several bars later, similar to repainting? Last evening all of a sudden a purple bar appeared changing a prior green bar to the purple color some 5 bars later, after the fact. During the rest of the evening, while asleep, there were no purple bars as when I looked at the chart this morning there were just yellow and blue bars for the entire time. I deleted the "retracement finder" indicator from the screen, then reinstalled it and numerous purple bars appeared. Anyone have any suggestions what I am doing incorrectly? Thank you. John, 66trader66.

Y´all

there might be a good signal long on the EU in 10 -15 minutes from now.

will take that one

By the way, i have to say that I have a lot of problems with the system, especially with the entry timing. It is also hard for me to build up confidence as you cannot backtest the thing.

Will keep lurking around.

cheers

ok..
i have combined the two MTF that Kevin has offered.. one is the regular on in the first post and the color one later on that i asked off him and he was kind enough to posted in the thread some pages ago..
this is what i have done... i have only kept the 4hr (240) on the original one and put the color stoch one on top of this one.. the setting on both are 14,3,3 and tf 60 for the color.

but the point is.... on this particular trade.. at time that signal arrived the 1hr stoach was stepping up.. but when the hour closed it closed as step down.. that is why i say to ignore the close and anticipate trades specially when you see the previous steps are inline with current signal.

let me know if still not clear.
