Here's something else I don't understand. I put the CCFp-Diff_[v2.0] indi and the CCFp-Diff_[v1.03] indi side by side on the same chart, used the same exact settings, both set for daily (1440 Mins) and they are giving the OPPOSITE signals. So which one do I use to trade off of as clearly one of them is wrong?

Interesting discovery, maybe that is why forexhard chooses to use the CCFp-Diff_[v2.0]. Just wondering...

Is it because 1 is taken from yesterdays close and the other refreshing all the time,just thinking allowed

So that post says:

I think I understand what he is saying, BUT if you look at his post on page 93, # 1391 you'll see that there are TWO displays at the top that say "Bar end".

The top left are the signals and the top right are the reverses.

BUT...what I showed in my picture was the SIGNALS ONLY from the two indicators I mentioned, which have exactly the OPPOSITE signals.

The bottom line is, I just want to know which of the two indicators to take my trades from since one of them must be VERY WRONG.

Robinhood, your 2 indis do NOT have the same settings. One says "Current" and one does not. Why is that?...

Because one has the feature and one doesn't. But even when I turn it off on the indi you posted (CCFp-Diff_[v2.0]), this is what I get:

These trades are my usual weekly CCFP that works almost 90% of the time. .

Only problem is when I repeat that on Monday or Tuesday it does not seem to work and sometimes end up losing what i made from FIRST trade I took in the beginning of the week.

I plan to follow FH template for the rest of the week using Daily CCFP and comparing to WEEKLY CCFP

I admire that you are building your own templates instead of just using mine. There is no better experience than experience, and I honor that in your efforts. But at the same time you are asking questions that have been answered in just the last 8 or 9 pages.

If you are new to this, and if you are getting conflicting results due to your inexperience, I would at least recommend that you switch your TF's to M5 while you go though the testing process. D1 is wrong for this type of work.

I did basically what you suggested in your post on page 95, # 1425, except for using .01, I used .10:

"When you get back, see if you can build a basket from at least 7 pairs. Seven. Minimum. More is better. Base the basket from the histo only, and at least 3 pairs have to go opposite direction -- so 4 Longs & 3 Shorts, or vice-versa. But there MUST be at least 7 pairs. Use Level 3 and up only. And finally base it ONLY on the Daily histo.
So, ignore the H4 histo and ignore the upper indi on both time frames, look for Level 3 pairs (and higher) on the lower histo only, and build a basket this way with at least 7 pairs.
Lastly, use small lot sizes. For now just use .01 per trade since you are experimenting and following my advice."

I am not getting conflicting results due to MY inexperience, I am getting conflicting results due to 2 very similar indicators presented within this thread telling me to do exactly the opposite trades.

Earlier I was just inquiring as to WHY 2 indicators that are made by the same guy and that are logically are doing the same thing are giving EXACTLY the OPPOSITE SIGNALS.

I guess you can see why this would concern me a lot and why I would ask other people who have been successful using this method WHICH ONE to take signals from.

After comparing Weekly and Daily this is what I see.

Sell USD
B Eur
B NZD
S CAD
B CHF
S JPY

So now we have to create at least 8 pairs that would include buys and sells;

Robinhood, if you are following my earlier instructions, then I suggest you use one of my templates to do it with. My instructions follow a specific pattern with a specific goal in mind. Mixing indis with no clear method or purpose behind it will only serve to confuse. Just because the indis are both found in the same thread means nothing in the big picture.

Now I have to give at least 5 hrs for it to cook and stay away from looking at the trades ( As Advised by FH). THAT IS THE HARD PART FOR ME.

Here is a very important point that many of you are missing, and it is causing you to not understand the system. And that is that the indicator makes it's biggest changes as the candles turn over.

The H4 candle has just turned over with IBFX. Attached are 2 pix of that change-over. They were taken just 15 seconds on either side of the candle. Before the new candle the indi moved very little. On the change the histogram changed quite a bit. Remember, this is how this was designed. It was designed to "lag" on purpose. There is a reason for this feature, and if you want to follow along you need to understand these points or the rest of it won't make sense to you.
