The Beauty - Bride of The Beast

Is this still working? I had sort of given up (no time really) and started looking into Phantom 6.

W.r.t. Beauty I thought that I needed to speed up the decaying take profit as a bad trend could result in long-term losses.

Anyway attached is my latest version in my files. You will also need LibOrderReliable from the initial-post ZIP.

Note that the more recent versions of Beast have a very different strategy from old versions of Beast which prompted this particular EA. So now Beauty & Beast are only distant relatives.

I think you need only one GlobalMagic on multiple pairs---the EA checks that trades equal the same symbol & magic number.

you know i didnt notice that the original post was a little older when the thread popped up again last week. i was reading about The Beast but i dont like any pseudo-martingale doubling-down like The Beast's recovery and my broker doesnt offer micro lots to reduce initial size enough so i wanted to try something like it but hopefully safer so i am just starting with The Beauty EA. did you run it yourself for a long time and find it wasnt any good? I ran it over NFP for my first day and it did fantastic. I will post some results after i have a full week.

i just loaded the new version you posted onto my charts and i noticed the EA tries to send orders when the market/broker is closed as i see orders failing repeatedly in the experts tab right now.

just thought i would report it to you. i will keep my terminal shutdown until market open
