I doubt that noskool retired from trading using this system ,just read his posts here ...Anyway when you use a 100pips SL and go for maybe 10pips TP on the m1 the you would have a high succes rate with any system, its just that you wont be profitable in the long run.
Ill run a new BT in Tradesim over the weekend on EU 5min with the vostro a COG (180bars, order 3) taking only trades in COG direction keeping at least 1:1 RRR

On another forum I was given an updated version of the Belkhayate timing indicator and it runs a lot smoother - if anyone is interested I will post it.
Here's an update of Week 1 with the 1H setup test on demo account:
117 trades
26 losses
91 wins
W/L ratio of 77.77%
+28.98% account growth
P/L still open -2.8%
SL at 100 pips on all 12 pairs.
2% risk
Included in the losses, only 9 hit SL
TP when the opposite signal showed up. (no hard TP)
My observations (if I may):
The 1H setup is exactly what I was looking for regarding short term trading. I would say it's mostly day trading because the trades are opened from a couple of hours to 12-16 hours (ball park figure).
No stress at all except when news, the whole platform goes into firework mode with all the bells and whistles ! It's so funny.
I took all the trades that I could whenever a signal showed up for entry or exit. When opposite signals appeared, I would close one trade and re-open another in reverse direction. So I was in the market most of the time. When I went to bed, I set a TP of 100 pips in case of favorable spikes. (it never happened)...
Also, if I missed a signal, I would enter it late. I think it even's out on the long run, some will go your way, some don't.
Maybe I wont trade on Fridays, just close the profitable ones because the news and the weekend... I was at 35% growth Friday morning and 3 of those 9 SL hit today... So it seems like a bad day as usual.
I do not check the COG or what so ever indicator, just the Super Signal X's and arrows.
I might optimise the results by trying to take only the trades with a price far away from the blue center COG line... I'm not sure yet because those results are not bad at all.

Hi Erwan,
I enter a trade whenever an "X" signal shows up (or is it a star)???. Those are before the arrow appear (if they appear). The arrow are when the signal is stronger. The "X's" also serve to exit when they are opposite of your trade. So you close when they appear in opposite direction and re-enter a trade in the according way.
EX: An "X" appears at the bottom of price, I go long. If an "X" shows up over the price, I close that trade and go short, etc... When an arrow appears in addition to the "X", it's just a stronger signal. It's not always the case as the price continues against you even if arrow shows up...
Note: you may get 2 or 3 "X's" on same trade. I take all of them when I can. So I can have 3 positions in same direction on same pairs. Most of the losses are small or little profit if ranging price.
Like right now i left 5 trades open over the weekend to see what happens. 3 of those trades are on USDCHF short. The other 2 are on EURGBP long and USDCAD sell.
And yes I trade the usual 12 pairs.
Kind of hard to explain all the possibilities of such a strategy, but if you are a price action trader, this is as easy as it gets !
I'll wait a couple of months before going live on this one. I want to see how constant this strategy is and how I can improve it.
The only trader discretionary options I see is when some news or big sudden price change/spikes happens, I might close for good profit and wait till the price calms down before I re-enter in direction it says so. But again, I'm only playing with this since a week, so my opinions are just based on my trading experience, not this strategy.

Yes it does repaint a lot, since it's an active indicator.
It will go the other way a lot on some pairs. (30-50 pips)
A better entry could be achieved, but I'm not there yet.
My guess is with a better entry "filter", many trades would be missed, however less DD and better W/L ratio.
We all need to study that. I'm used to large DD's on long term, but it would be good to limit it.
I am used to the super signal that I use with cog and the main problem is that it can appears and the currency still goes against the signal.
I think a very good filter would be to wait for a up candle for a long and for a down for a short. I noticed that when a big mouvement in on the way the super signal will appear too early but waiting for the candle confirmation should be interesting I guess. But it's very difficult to make some improvement because of the repaint thing.
But, like you said earlier, do you need to improve it. I mean, 25% a week should be enough!

Yes, when I take any position (1st, 2nd, 3rd...) I always put 100 pips. I don't even check the $$$ value of that pair. Some are over 2%, some less. Just a hard 100 pips SL.
EX: I had 3 positions on USDCHF from last Friday and an additional Sunday open. Two of them were about to hit SL, another Short appeared, I still took the trade. I just woke up 45min ago, I closed +68, +35, +28, -2 = +129
I'm up 12.39% in 12 hours.
EDIT: P/L = -3.5% at the moment.
