As you correctly predicted, oscillation of price around the box creates havoc with hedge-the- hedge, creating enormous lot sizes and an eventual implosion.
One could distance the initial hedge from the box trades. Ideally, he could then initiate hedge-the-hedge at a much lower enter-at-loss-pips than the hedge. Then the MPTM would be usable to control risk, without exposure to the havoc.
If you could please insert a separate enter-at-loss-pips for Hedge-the-hedge, then the system becomes usable.
