for some trends phase, I would rather prefer SVM than polymonial
for ranging phase, I would rather prefer linear or polymonial regression.
if types phases are mixed, I would consider GA instead of KNN

google nowadays is traines to deliver personalized results, it think I have trained very well my google.
I think that thanks to an AI we can precise the best thresholds for a given pair and period.
It is possible to use it with a confirmation with the fractal dimension index. By the way I have tested the fractal break - out pattern with an expert and it appears that this patterns exists in euro/dollar when we have historically expected volatility.

I just wrote in 5 minutes this simple indicator, you need to put both in place in the chart, and get the shifted parameters activated.
Also, beware, the Extrapolator indicator analyses 1700 bars * LpOrders (0;72) (this could crash your computer, so start w/ 500 bars first and increase this bars number)
I agree. Have had it running for a good while now, and it's clearly an INDICATOR.

So far, I've only used it to indicate break point's and "trend change", and it seems to work quite well for that. I'm using other tools to assist, of course. I'm enclosing a shot so you see what it looks like.

"moving" means re-painted. But, it can point where is high/low. and lag 3-5 bars.
