Hi Hmaoui..LOL.. why to give up Man? Your system is good. To be honest, I must confess, the disadvantage of the system is the waiting time to see the perfect setup. Yes..that could be long time and boring. But there will always be other way to kill that Boring ..LOL.

But, I think most of the systems in FF are like that too. They are all require us to wait for the setup being established. We're only retail trader, that do the sniper job, not those Big Boys. Yes, we do the sniper job LOL. Patient is the key to this strategy I think, more than the technique it self.

That's a perfect setup I guess. Even just before vertical line on 9:00, there's a pullback, it is also a perfect setup.
BTW, I never try this strategy on GBP/USD as I sometime afraid of that currency's move How is your experience to trade it on GBP/USD?
Perfect Setup today when I was on my way to the office...

Hi, I just find out that ADX (the one that metatrader has) is not DMI (the one that appears on Hmaoui pictures) that's why I did't get many signals (lol). That's why Bom-Bom use ADX(38).

Well I searched and found DMI for metatrader so you can download and attached to the charts so we all can trade as Hmaoui

I also attached a picture where you can see the diference between ADX(38), DMI(14) of metatrader and DMI of WHS ProStation.

hello hmoui and everybody first of all thank you for sharing this system. I trade it for almost two weeks, unfortanetly not profitable since I am doing a lot of mistakes and miss entrys. I trade the 5m chart 1m is too fast for me can you guys comment on my entrys please, if it was right or why it was wrong thanks in advance good luck

LOL...among this time I thought the ADX is DMI..LOL... I just found that 38 is good for ADX, not many crossing though. Will try it!

Hi..I'm trying to comment :
1. For your first trade, there's no wrong. But to be honest, on a strong trend market, I will wait the PA to enter when it hit the Long Term MA. And your SL is too far away from your entry. Should be previous low (that PA which touch ST MA).

2. O your second trade, I guess you're a little bit late. Should enter when price on LT MA.

BTW..I'm just learning too..good trading
I just can say you it is the perfect entry ! A perfect setup ! To manage your exit, as you enter with a tight SL, you may enter with multiple lots, so you can get out as soon as 12pips is gained on half of your position, and exit the other half with trailing stop or with the 12EMA. In all cases, be aware of S/R lines and Pivot Levels !!! Very good for exit...

Hi,

Even if the first entry was a loser one, it was good. That's ok you lost 7 pips. Nevertheless, you can tr another entry on the pullback at the 60EMA. Why ? Because it is a good support (remember 60EMA represents the 1h average price on 1mn TF !!!) and you have a Stochastic in overbought territory AND a divergence, whereas the DMI is confirming an uptrend ! It is a game of probability and you have many chances to win in this case. So you 2nd entry would have been there and not at the 12EMA as you did. In your case it is a "breakout" trade, not a "pullback" trade : you wait the price to break the 12EMA to jump in.

So what would have been good is to enter at the 60EMA level, with a tight SL to protect you from a new downtrend, and exit half at 15 pips and let the other hal runing with a trailing stop. Because in this case it could be a good upward movement if the support is really strong (the trend takes his breath), or a weakness so you have to lock some profit.

For "Breakout" trade, I will launch a new thread soon with another system....very very simple too !

O forgot : because of volatility on GBP/USD you have to adapt your SL. Also I think it is safer to wait for Stochastic to be near the overbought/oversold territory.

thank you guys for the fast reply I appreciate it.
Ok I thought entry should be always above (for long) the ST MA but we can enter on every MA as long Stoch and DMI give the right signals?
And it is better when price touches the LT MA and pulls there back
I will try next week and if you donīt mind I will post my trades

I thank you for very good system. I trade on 1 minute and is very happy. I in the market and with your rules of trade began to turn out for a long time much better.

I see we break the support and I have a Signal, so I jump in for 13 pips , out to early but I'm happy.

in the moment I trade by 8 pips SL and 13 pip TP so 2 winner and 3 looser I'm BE.

I trade by 1% risk and after I have !% in Profit I have done for the Day.

may have to improve that moneymanagment, please feel free to give me some Idea, thanks

sorry I can't show the trade in mt4 , because I trade at jforex platform, use mt4 only for charting, the green area was my trade frame and the yellow line trigger time.

I learn good things today.
in fact, in order to recognize that we're currently in trend or not is look at the EMA Pointing. If it is pointing between 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock, even the stochastic met, the DMI met, and there's pullback. better not trade.

But good setuip always come with EMA pointing between 4 and 6 o'clock for Sell and 12 to 2 o'clock for buy.

The attached picture speaks for the good and bad setup.
