Ive noticed for a few days now, right around the 24gmt mark that the spread jumps up 20-30 pips (im on ECN) for a couple minutes. Today the Ask stayed pretty much flat, but at the same time the Bid jumped way down 24 pips, then back up, then back down to the same level again.

Can anyone explain whats going on there? Ive lost a few positions just because my stop gets hit on that Bid spike down.

Can it be used as any sort of indicator...

Hmm... speculator and sentiments...Exsilium!! or BROKER'S PROBLEM / MANIPULATE
not really sure...

true, I'm kinda positioning to go short actually for today. USDX is stuck @ WP and didn't clear it with a strong downmove. + spinning top on H4 on GU I agree. Also looking to go short on AU since it can't clear WP.

kiwi fruit right at monthly mid pivot and looks like it can't clear previous high, considering short selling @ 8044. sailor what's your thoughts on this?

Interesting read for dollar bulls. Concerns only long term prospects but anyways interesting background noise to be aware of as bond mkts are huuge. Trade well folks.

kiwi kinda close to it's all time high - not sustainable chinese investment rumor is pure speculation right now I'd say.

Eu short (stopped last night), first trade of the day Ej bought on the retest of yesterday's high stop at Be TP below monthly S1, after this one don't want to take any long position, look for short entries, end of the week also.

yes most of them are at important pivots. Might as well wait for them to properly clear at least on the H1 I reckon.

i closed my Ej long for 30 pips,my plan for kiwi (small position short now) - another pending order below Weekly R2. SL above Weekly R2.

Hey Sailor, man I figure you pulled out of the EJ too early. I think it's yen playing deception game.

here's the H1 harmonic setup I will look to short sell soon targets on shorts are highlighted.

guys i envy you... that see patterns everywhere and are able to trade them. This morning i actually have no clue about what to do. The only thing that i can notice is the obvious, GU closed at 6270 and EU reached WP during Asia time and now stuck in between DP and WP. EJ might be again forming a rising wedge or a flag (still it's too late to even call any of these patterns thou).
Sidelines till i don't see anything that i like...

Dario H1 EJ is doing a bearish gartley that's what I posted. It's a good pattern to trade so might as well check it out!

hmmm judging from my style of trading.. i think that even if formed i will pass. Not to say that it won't work out, but i hardly like to short over DP and WP unless we have on the higher TF something rather solid.

Plus i have to admit that i wouldn't even know how to trade what u posted... Where is the TP? where to place the SL?

I'd wait for PA to reverse @ 60-80 area and enter @ 57 and TPs are red boxes on the chart. As SL I'd use 20-30 pips at max.

so going from particular to general... u wait for price to go up in the last corner of the second triangle and then wait for it to break the triangle on the downside.... with SL over the previous high and first TP where the 2 triangles touch?? am i missing something?

Again... won't trade it unless it met MY style of trading.. but it's always good to know new things
